Gus is doing alright compared to the guy who might as well be called the proper BW champion. Barao was on 11k/11k... Poor guy, knockout bonus helped though.
Barao is ranked #6 in the Pound for Pound ranking, OMG.

Yesterday the swedish ufc-fighter Alexander Gustafsson was interviewed by Aftonbladet (crappiest newspaper in sweden /translators comment) who reported that Alex felt like having his upcoming camp in Sweden. This statement lead to a lot of speculation from various sites that the cooperation between Alex and Alliance MMA had been terminated. There was also speculation about the reason for the "termination" was that an upcoming match between Alex and Phil Davies was in the making.

All these rumours are now denied by Alex main coach Andreas Michael, who in an exlusive interview with kimura.se explains that media has just taken Alexes comment and misinterpreted it in order to "sell" the article/news. Andreas says that the cooperation between Alliance and Alex/allstar gym will continue for a long time and that there has never been any thoughts about ending the nice relationship the two clubs have enjoyed.

The rumours about a match between Davis and Alex are not correct either, Andreas says, but rather something that media have fabricated out of the blue. Alex and Davis will only face in a title fight or if both fighters get a seven figure salary (he is probably not talking about dollars but rather SEK /translators comment) for fighting each others says Andreas.

Yep this is a terrible decision IMO he should have the absolute best gym he can right now and be training for a rematch with Jones right now.

He had great sparring partners, great wrestlers at Alliance! I think that it's a mistake for him to switch camps now and more so before the second fight with Jones. His wrestling made him successful in their first fight and if he amputates it from his game it would be a damn shame. I think that he and Gegard Mousasi have the best chances from anybody in the division to defeat Bones... hope he doesn't beat himself in the second fight!

Read the damn thread before posting. Alex is not leaving Alliance, the origin of this thread is false. I've provided text and video from solid sources, stop fueling the hype machine.
