The fact that this fight is getting main card billing over Krause/Green and Bermudez/Siler is ridiculous.

Chiesa gave Masvidal a good fight up until the submission, and Jorge is solid.

I think Chiesa will win this one unless Smith makes it as ugly as he can, which is possible.

This is on the main card because of Colton Smith being a former ranger or whatever it was he did

I try to bring myself to like Smith, but he makes it so hard. It's not even that his fighting style is hard to watch. It's that he's kind of a jerk. From him touching gloves and immediately shooting for a take down, to him winning TUF and saying that MMA is easy. If it's so easy, why do you have to resort to clinging to your opponents for 15 minutes just to manage a win? I get that he's really just trying to say that being in the army is harder and that they deserve respect for what they do, that's fair enough, but he can do it without down playing MMA. MMA is not easy if you want to be the best in the world. It requires a lot of hard work, sacrifice (training full time and giving up a potential steady income before making it big), and discipline as well if you want to compete in the UFC and be the best in your weight class.

If he considers it so easy, why is he no where near the top 10 in the world? Did he consider it easy when Whittaker TKO'd him? Sure, if you want to be a mixed martial artist, it's easy. If you want to be a good one and actually go somewhere with it as a full time career, it's not easy. Like I said, I get it, he's giving the army it's props and that's what he did before MMA, that's great and everything.. But just stop talking. You can give the army it's props without disrespecting the organization you're in now. A lot of good fighters never got the chance to make it big in the UFC, and they don't need some low level fighter like you that got into the UFC from winning a (crappy) season of the ultimate fighter telling people that it's easy to do despite them not managing too. It's just disrespectful in my opinion.

/end rant. Just needed to get that off of my chest about him, haha.

That being said, if Chiesa manages to take his back, I could see this one ending by rear naked choke. Chiesa won't relent once taking an opponents back. I wonder if Smith would still call MMA easy. :P

I couldn't care less for both guys. But I'd rather Colton eat a loss.

Glad that Chiesa got the win.

Is it still easy, Smith?

Looked pretty easy to me... you know... the way he got thrown, gave up his back and then got subbed.
