Your favorite moments in MMA

What moments in your MMA fanhood stick out the most?

1. Both times Chuck made Tito crumble. All time favorite fighter vs least favorite fighter. The 2nd one was probably the best since it was probably Chuck's final big moment except for his epic brawl with Wanderlei...

2. Chuck vs Wanderlei- It may have happened too late but both men went to war and this will go down as my all time favorite battle inside the cage.

3. Hendo knocking out Bisping. Another example of a favorite fighter destroying one of my least favorite fighters. Can't think of anyone in MMA at the time that deserved to have his mouth shut more then Mike. I know the tons of UK fans here still hate on Hendo to this day because of this fight.

Lesnar beating Mir
Franklin beating Shamrock
Weidman beating Silva
Gustaffson vs. Bones
Guida vs. Heurta

the phenomenal, the back and forth and the underdogs winning are my favorite kind of fights. When Lesnar was running around screaming after he beat Mir it was one of those holy shit moments I'll never forget, like a real life comic book character rampaging around the octagon. When Franklin beat Shamrock it blew me away because I was naive and thought Shamrock was the baddest mofo around and when this new guy comes in and dismantles him I was dumbfounded.

Like you, Henderson-Bisping is up there, after suffering through that season of TUF hearing Bisping talk... that was some great pay off there.

Silva getting that triangle was amazing for me, i might be delusional but while watching that fight i was always confident Silva was going to turn it around. I thought Sonnen was tiring and Silva was going to get the KO, even more so after he dropped Sonnen in round four.

Best thing is, just as i lost hope... Silva triangled him.

An older fight has to be Don Frye vs Tank. It might be the only time in history i felt sorry for Tank, he was so close to ending that fight before something got him to the floor (My memory says it was a slip, but im not sure. It wasnt a td or a punch though) Frye quickly jumped on a rnc and ended it. I love Frye, but that was Tanks night

Fedor vs. Cro Cop comes to mind first.

Liddell vs. Wanderlei was great too.

Randy vs. Nog was cool, I wanted to see them go at it for many years, like Liddell vs. Wanderlei.

Cro Cop vs. Wanderlei 2, the buildup and just how much I wanted to see it, two killers going at each other. Plus the fight itself was fun and a great finish.

Anderson submitting Chael.

I'd been into MMA for about a year and a half when this came up. I really enjoyed the build up and was looking forward to seeing how this crazy bastard was going to try to back everything up when he got in with the #1 guy in the game. The way the fight turned out for the majority and then the come from behind win was just amazing to watch, even though I'd been rooting for Chael. Hollywood ending, I remember sitting back really drunk just saying "What a sport" over and over again haha.

Mine are weird, some are great because i joke with my brother about it, like Sean Gannon getting wrecked by Brandon Lee Hinkle (who we called surfer dude) after Gannon walked to the Octagon acting like the baddest man ever.

more recently Barnett vs Mir, agreed it was a bad stoppage, but from Josh Barnett's Entrance to the end of the fight how he composed himself like it was just another day, makes it in my list and i have a new favourite fighter!.

First 30-60 seconds of Paul Taylor vs Paul Kelly fight @ UFC 70? i beleive.

Babalu vs Heath, he really did teach him a lesson i mean damn!

Diaz vs Gomi

Anderson vs Forrest/Vitor

AF I enjoyed ur list very much til the very end. I must use my mod powers to edit that...lolz.

5.) Pat Smith front kicking The Pitbull flying across the fence then choking him out in MID AIR. Yes in mid air...dude had to
tap out using his feet.

4.) Marcos Ruas chopping down the Polar Bear.

3.) Ken Shamrock nailing the heel hook vs Pat Smith. My first intro to a leg lock submission. So sick!

2.) Vitor obliterating Tank Abott...the bully.

1.) Anderson catching The Sandman's very first leg kick and sending a laser guided missile into his face. That was just too awesome. It would be his first foray into the LHW division.
