Dana is dumb he should of given Karo a title shot already but no he give it to Huhghes, WHAT AN IDIOT, btw I think Gsp deserves a shot at the title, but I guess he will after he destroyes Kos.
Why does he deserve a title shot? For beating Thompson and Burkman? He needs to beat one of the following to earn a shot: Hughes, GSP, Fitch, Kos, Diego.

If he get's one it prob. won't be til march or so next here. He's gonna hve to wait for Hughes/Serra then Who ever wins GSP/Kos for their title shot. I still say he needs to fight Sanchez again before his shot, if he wins.
First of all it's not "his" title shot, and Koscheck, in my opinion, is still ahead of Karo for a title shot, so the UFC is basically screwing Kos like they screwed Karo, by giving Kos a fight with GSP when he's obviously the #1 contender.
Jon Fitch is also ahead of Karo but...you know, Karo has judo throws, and as we all know, a judo throw is the entire fight.
Why? Karo had one win after losing to Diego at the time. Koscheck beat the guy that beat Karo.
Karo should have gotten a title shot after he recovered from injury, BUT that fight with Diego set him back, which led Koscheck and Fitch to pass him up in my opinion.
I mean to take credit away from Koscheck is ridiculous, he's obviously in front of Karo at this point. Fitch/Karo you can make a case but it's plain as day Koscheck is the #1 contender.

Well, I could make the argument that because Andrei Arlovski's last fight was boring he doesn't stand as the next contender behind Gonzaga, so why should Koscheck? His fight was even less eventful, even though he pushed the pace.
I'm not arguing with you about Koscheck deserving a shot, because I think he's really underrated. But I do think Parisyan should have had the title shot before Hughes again.

Boring or not, a win is a win and Koscheck pushed the pace in that fight while Diego hung back. And there's a reason why Gonzaga is ahead of AA, because Gonzaga is on a tear, while Arlovski lost 2 straight to Sylvia and is still working his way up.
Oh I'm not arguing that, Hughes should be behind Karo, Fitch, and Koscheck. To give Hughes a title shot from beating Chris Lytle undecisively is pretty much bull****.

GSP> KOS (GSP via Spinning Backfist KO) or Spinning Back Kick KO to KOS's fairly lage upper lip)
KARO>Hughes (via JUDO throw on Matt's head KO due to death)
Im way cooler than you, what the hell has Kos done but fight boring as Tim Sylvia type fights, he acts like hes the sh*t when he beat Diego, WTF did he do to Diego....nothing!!!

He beat Diego, I guess that's what he did to him, pushed the pace, tried to make a fight of it, it was the Diego that was cautious. "Lay and pray stand up"...haha, signs a true MMA newbie.
And you are definitely cooler then me, you made the term "lay and pray stand up", because it makes so much sense, that's why you're cooler then me.

I aint a new bie miss, and what are you talking about get out of 4 years ago???? BTW since when does Kos try to make a fight out of anything, all his fights are boring.
Well, I see the winner of GSP vs. Kos getting the winner of Serra vs. Hughes! If Karo wants a title shot then Dana should set him up against BJ Penn (If he beats Pulver) or Jon Fitch. If he can beat one of those guys then he should get a title shot!
fitch shouldnt be ahead of karo, i could see the argument that they should fight for position in the ranks, but fitch is boring as hell to watch and hasnt fought *that* good of fighters. karo's been in there with everyone, including the champ matt serra, and WON. karo's fight with diego set him back, but it should only have been a minor set back as it was fight of the year, and a very close match-up untill the end of the third. karo brings it every fight, its ALWAYS fun to watch, and he'd make a fight of it with anyone at that weight. you cant say that for fitch/kos.

Karo has been in there with only 3 top fighters: Serra, GSP, and Diego. He lost to Diego and GSP in a pretty convincing fashion, and his fight with Serra was before ANYONE thought Serra was a "top fighter"

if Dana is smart, Karo is right up there with the others in line for a title shot. This is a business, and what Dana should be thinking about is how to market his next WW title match. Now think about this, if you're him, would you rather market someone who has not has many exciting fights, made a few easy paychecks by laying on someone for 15 minutes and getting a decision....OR do you want to market a fight involving a guy who goes out and steals the show literally every time he enters the octagon? Fans dont want to see men apparently dry humping eachother for a quarter of an hour, they want to see Judo throws the likes of which theyve never seen before, guys who slug it out and make for an exciting fight, a guy to put asses in seats, especially if hes trying to attract new fans

I agree that a win is a win, however I doubt Gonzaga would have been #1 contender if he had not KO'd Cro Cop. Arlovski has been on a tear since his loss to Sylvia, beating Marcio Cruz and Fabricio Werdum. I wouldn't really call Gonzaga's wins high profile with the exception of Cro Cop.
I'm just simply criticizing the way Dana and Joe Silva make fights. "Andrei your fights are boring, but you win so no title shot". I think Koscheck still has to beat someone high profile before he should be a #1 contender.. the division is just so stacked at this point. I'd really say him and Karo should be going at it for that spot.

Matt Hughes must give pretty good head for Dana to keep giving him breaks like this.
