Mazzughati does it again

So now the guy who gets Knocked out has to stop the fight...good job Steve.

Normally I would say quitting on a stool is a bad thing, but Steve wouldn't stop the fight till Uriah had his fist through his skull.

Chris Leben - Legendary warrior known for surviving brutal beat downs.

This fight - Leben gets dropped and hurt bad by one punch.

You - This referee is stupid.

Huh?

I'm struggling to understans what your argument is? Too early, too late? Or Mazzagetti is a moron?

With the latter i would agree.. however please clarify.

So basically you wanted the official to stop the fight when Leben was still defending himself solely so Chris wouldn't have to say uncle between rounds.

I'm saying the ref should have stopped the fight at the end of the round. Chris Leben isn't going out for a second round because he knows he's out and he likely doesn't want to risk permanent damage because Mazzughati won't stop the fight until he's bleeding out the ears and evacuating his bowels.

The guy has had an amazing career and he's let down because he can't trust the commission to take care of him.

He wasn't defending himself he was turning way and turtling up. On the stool he didn't know if he went out or not.

Leben wasn't even that hurt. He was shaking hands with Hall within 30 seconds of quitting. He just didnt have it in him to take the shots, but in a medical stand point, he was in no enhanced danger.

Thanks to Ape for the sig.

What? He did fine. Leben was moving the whole time and still defending himself. Not to mention there was like 4 seconds left in the round. Leave Steve alone.

Will make predictions for credits. Please, I'm so broke.

He probably should have at least stopped it when Leben got up and tried to walk out of the octagon.

Steve has done some questionable stuff in the past, but nothing wrong with this. If there had been 30 or more seconds in the round I think he would have stopped it. Leben is know for fast recovery and taking big shots, so I see no reason for the ref to stop the fight in between rounds. Could you imagine the shit storm that would have arose had Steve, not Chris or the doctor, made the decision to stop the fight after the round was over.
