Rousey vs Tate Fightmetric

Looks like Rousey seriously has improved her stand up:

It's clear just by watching the fight that rousers striking is considerably improved. Not just at distance, but in the clinch and on the ground too. Can't wait to see her fight again.

Ronda looks light years ahead of any other female fighters I've seen. Her display of Judo last night was something to behold. Her other techniques impressed me hugely. She is going to have a GSP type reign in the UFC if she can keep her head together.
Foolish PR move not shaking Meisha's hand though, champions need to demonstrate class in victory and defeat.

I think shes ahead of her opponents but she's not that far ahead that her losing would be unfathomable. A fighter with a little more torque and a more technical stand up would stand a good chance.
Yes she has great technique and all but wmma is in such an evolutionary state that its hard to see whats coming round the corner.
All he wins come by armbar, that should tell you something.
I'd like to see cyborg take a pop.

You're right. WMMA is in an evolutionary state. Unfortunately for everyone else, the fighter doing the most evolving right now is Rousey.

Dont get me wrong she has beautiful technique BUT she can force that armbar though even when its not there. Her stand up is not awesome but she know enough to beat her opponents. Any kinda clinch and it almost certainly results in a judo throw.

I'm not a fan of Rousey at all. I was really puling hard for Tate Saturday. With that being said, Ronda smashed Tate in that fight. I kept thinking Ronda could have finished the fight earlier but was enjoying beating on her.
