Really happy to see Weidman get that raise he has shown he deserves.

At least Anderson is laughing and limping his way to the bank. Extra $200k + PPVS + free medical provided by the suits and a brand new titanium rod which he can now use for true destruction. Really makes for an interesting comeback story...Matrix/Bionic man/Terminator style.

Without a doubt in my gut if he can train fully and rehabilitate I have no doubt he will continue to honour his contract. His story may not be over just yet. This is how legends are made.

Didn't Miesha win FOTN. She deserves it. I never felt so bad for a losing fighter who had heated words prior, lost, and was classy enough to shake her hand after fighting her ass off. I respect Ronda...she's a bad ass. But at least give her a nod or pound then walk off. Then going back to what I just said about feeling bad for a losing combatant THEN the main event happens. What a trip...

I think a lot of people got overshadowed including Weidman, Browne, and Leben. My new nickname for him will be R.D. He is the Rodney Dangerfield of MMA.

That was most likely Leben's last fight and he didn't address the crowd or go to post conference. He just went straight home. I wonder what goes through the mind of the losing combatant.

Eventually things may change but lots of UFC/MMA fans still aren't fans of women's MMA and until that changes women will always be paid less because they make the UFC less.

I would venture a guess that she takes home a cut of the PPV, not as large a cut as Silva, but it is a significant amount of money I would guess!

Agree!

At the house I watched the fight at, we had 4 people watch the entire event and 7 watch the WMMA fight.... the fans are there, just not in as great of numbers.

Weidman fights against the goat in a very talented and competitive division thats also a much higher weight class. Ronda is a one trick pony in a paper thin division plus she got both bonuses even though she deserved maybe one at most. Also this is base pay dana I bet gives her way more than weidman unfairly so. And also weidman is 7-0 in the UFC and ronda is 2-0.

Great points... I was waiting to see what exactly Ronda made for this fight since Holy Holm was holding out for nothing less then 100k per UFC fight.... That's seems like a pipe dream after seeing these #'s.

And it's a pretty new division. I distinctly remember Mighty Mouse getting an abysmal base pay up until very recently until the flyweight division had established its self a bit more.

Lol ufc 162 weidman gets 24k+24k win bonus. Second time around 200k+200k win bonus I'm glad for the guy, regardless of the way the two fights went.
