Why exactly is he being kept around?
Vaughan Lee is far from a world beater and he just made Phan look like a complete amateur.

Seems like he gets his ass handed to him in all his losses too.
He's getting tagged frequently and badly every fight, besides cutting him he really needs a new camp to teach him some striking defense for starters and then the offense second.

I thought the Phan vs. Miller decision was fair actually, but I agree that he has been getting beat down in his losses. He seems to be getting worse and worse for whatever reason.

It's alright, I'll always remember him for his body punches and for him exposing McKenzie as a one trick pony. I remember on TUF how everyone was worried about Cody's guillotine choke and Phan was so laid back about it with that "I'm not concerned about anything" attitude. Good times.

I wonder what his mindset is at the moment. He can't be happy with himself as a fighter. The idea is to get better each fight, not worse. I'm not even sure if anyone would be a gimme fight for him at this point. Not that it matters, there is really no excuse for him to still be on the UFC roster.
