Well worth a watch, even if it's a little late.

He's seems a really genuine guy, hope he makes it.

Taking a fight on 10 days notice against someone like Cormier is suicide. He definetly has balls.

Will we see him in the UFC again?
The other swede that took Mousassi on short notice never step foot in the octogon again and he did much better fighting wise than Cummins did.

Ilir Latifi fights Cyrille Diabate in London 2 weeks from now.

I'm sure he'll (Cummins) get another chance.

His Mousasi fight was in April 2013 and the UFC have only been to Europe once since then (Manchester in October), presumably they'd prefer to keep him in Europe for financial reasons, 11 months is a long wait but I think understandable considering the circumstances.

I don't expect to see Pat Cummins until towards the end of 2014, but there are loads of cards in the US so I could be talking shit and we see him again in 3 months???

At first i thought Cummins was going to be 1 and done but i changed my mind.

Pat Cummins name has gotten out there in a short period of time due to the UFCs hype machine. I dont think they will let his new found fame go to waste by dropping him. They only have to pay him 8k/8k which works out perfect for the UFC. They will use his name to fill up a slot on some fight cards and if he doesnt perform then they will drop him.

Yep.

Plus they sort of owe him a chance, seeing as he saved the fight for them. Same as Ilir Latifi in that respect.

You would think for saving a card as he did, the UFC would at least give him a two fight deal. He gave the UFC a fighter and storyline that probably saved a PPV from being a a complete bust.
