The only problem is the winner of Hendricks/Lawler is going to need to fight someone before the mess sorts itself out... assuming the winner isn't injured.

The UFC is just going to randomly pick one of these winners... the guy with the most marketable story and give him the shot.

Like you mentioned until Hendricks-Robbie is over we don't really know if it will be a fast turnaround or not.
I agree, I think the UFC will wait and pick the guy with the best win and biggest name out of the group.

I really hope Condit get's the title eventually. Could see Hendricks staying at the top as well.

As long as Condit never, ever uses the style he used vs Diaz then I can live with it. But I'm a Diaz fan and I was really pissed off not only about his style of fighting but how it was scored and perceived by others.

I think it's a matter of time before Condit's the champ. Have a bad feeling that U-know-what-I-mean Hendicks will be the champ before Carlos though.

Never will I ever be fake, never will I follow

My guess is that the UFC does whatever they can to get Rory (although I don't understand the Rory appeal, the guy has the personality of a freaking stick and I think his hype far outstretches his talent right now) into a title shot in the very near future. They are going to want another Canadian with a belt now that GSP is gone, so I would almost guarantee that Rory gets the next shot regardless of the outcome of Condit/Woodley.

I think the WW title should stay vacated until the UFC finishes doing a 16 man tournament, with the winner being the new champion. The division is a goddamn mess and a tournament is the best way to sort it out.

IMO their best chance is TJ Grant, who seems to be skipped over in favor of others in that division now.

I'm still not totally sold on Grant. I feel like Pettis, Melendez, and Thomson would all pick him apart and Bendo would outwork him for 3 rounds. I want to see him fight another top guy before I jump on that hype train.
