That's what I remember most about her. I used to watch the old weigh in's and she really did a dis-service too female fighters by her often missing weight. The announcers used to blame it on hormone levels in the female body which I totally ate up until I saw about a 1,000 other woman make weight.

The trouble is when you have weight classes so close to each other there is a lot of temptation to try and cut that little bit of extra weight. By making the division gaps bigger I think it would help prevent some of that.

Would you really say it is up and running? My whole point was that they would try to get fans interested in more than womens 135.

Also exactly why I said 155 instead of 145. She consistently failed to make weight or had to weigh in nude to try and make weight. This would help prevent that if she really is going to make a come back.

hey, I'm all for nude weigh ins! (for the women that is....) then again, we want it fair so why not for the men also... I can just turn off the screen.

Gina was on Arenio Hall show last night and said her and Dana will be sitting down next week to talk about her comeback. She said she has really been wanting to fight so I don't see any reason why we won't see her back. I wouldn't be surprised to see her fight this year.
It was a nice reminder of how cool Gina is...she is like the complete opposite of Rousey.

Amanda Nunes would be a perfect fight for her to comeback in with. But I don't trust the promotion with individuals like her to give us good logical matchup. I could see them bringing back someone like Roxanne who has name value but who they would also probably expect to get beat up by Carano, of course earning her a fight in their eye$ with the champion.

I could see them giving her Tate since she has the highest name value outside of Rousey. I'm hoping they don't give her Ronda out the gate but I wouldn't be surprised at all if they did. Hopefully Cat gets her shot a Ronda next. I think Gina matches up well vs Tate.
I don't see Gina fighting very often or for very long. I expect this comeback to be about 3 fights. Just the gut feeling I get from it.

Correia is perfect for Gina. Nunes would maul Gina. Carmouche, Davis would all beat Gina too imo. Especially given Gina's looooong hiatus.

Correia or Tate would be decent enough fights for Gina.
