So who should be next in line for the WW title

GSP - former champion on break after winning a controversial win over the current champion.

Rory Macdonald - 7-2 in his UFC career and the highest ranked opponent that Hendricks hasn't fought.

Tyron Woodley - 11-2 in his Strikeforce/UFC career, although his win over Condit kind of a freak injury.

Hector Lombard - 3-2 in the UFC but on a two fight win streak over Strikeforce's MW and WW champions

Robbie Lawler - was that fight good enough for a rematch

Nick Diaz - cause....some reason

Make the WW division great again

I went with Lombard, but personally, I really don't like any of the choices right now. Maybe Brown if he beats Silva in May?

Lombard at this point or a Lawler rematch.
Match Woodley up with Rory or DHK for a number one contender fight.

BJ Penn. Because for whatever reason, he gets a free title shot against every WW champion.

I say Lombard should get the shot next. Then have Lawler Vs Woodley, Rory Vs DHK, if Diaz comes back then give him Tarec or Ellenberger

Honestly most interesting for me at this moment would be to see GSP return and us get to see that rematch. All these other fighters have been a little disappointing lately.

If GSP doesn't want to come back then maybe it is best to give the next shot to Rory and then have Woodley vs Lombard for #1 contender match.

Interesting how Rogan says Lombard played it safe for a round, so he shouldn't get a title shot, but Rory got completely dominated for a round and Rogan thinks he should be next in line. He is also 1-1 in his last two and the win before that streak wasn't exactly impressive. I don't understand Rogan's logic unless he is just trying to push Rory. Lombard looked great in his fight.

I would much rather see Hendricks vs. Lombard than Hendricks vs. Rory.

Now the division looks incredibly thin without GSP involved. Don't see anyone even competing with Hendricks besides Lawler. With Lombard's performance he'll get embarassed, Woodley a big meh and Rory would get schooled like a small child.

I'd go with Nick just because this forum would go crazy if it happened.

I would love to see an instant rematch I won't lie. If not, I vote Rory as everyone else in the list doesn't come close to deserving one imo, including Woodley his win was more fluke than skill and he was not winning the fight even. At least Rory has a convincing win over a top 10 guy. Lawler deserves the rematch though.
