I thought there was a lot of people putting an asterisk next to Weidmans win too, he has an advantage of already having a legit win over Silva in the fight before.

I dont think TW should be discredited for his victory. He was winning the fight up to the injury and showed enough to merit a shot... Id like to see him and hector for Number 1 contender

I think that is way too many hurdles for hector and a bizarre scenario matchmaking wise.As it stands now he has momentum and is the frontrunner having beaten the 2 last ppl to beat woodley, to take a fight with woodley would be a lose lose.I dont know how ufc are going to try and justify rory getting the shot for just beating maia though but it should be rory/hector for number 1 contender if hendricks is out

To Live is 2 suffer, 2 survive? well that is 2 find meaning in the suffering

Do you ever post anything that isn't race related?
Personally I saw Woodley's win as legit but I'm fairly certain if they fought again Condit would whip that ass, no pun intended.

I'm not really sympathetic to the whole race thing, and it's especially annoying when anyone, black, female, gay, "transgender" or whatever tries to pull that card. Seriously, get over yourselves.

Its not very clear what you are saying really. My point is Anderson lost twice horribly and never once was weidman in any danger whatsoever. There's no asterisk there, Anderson made bad mistakes that got exploited on two different occasions.

Weidman was dominating when the injury happened.

Woodley was not dominating when the injury happened.

Weidman had already dominated Silva in a previous fight.

Woodley needed to win impressively in order to get a title shot. He didn't.

These are why there have been some different responses.

I also think you need to look up the threads after Weidman / Silva 2. A lot of people still think there are un answered questions... which is the same thing people think about Woodley / Condit.

Seems simple enough to me.

RIP Jordan Corder. Watch over me from above brother.

Yup, I am totally not sold on Weidman, so I disagree with the notion that Weidman is being treated differently. I am one of the probably 50% of fans that think the second fight is a write off. It isn't just a few people. First fight was a legit beat down, though.
