I don't think that's the case. I think he honestly believes that he can not only compete but excel against the top guys. He's ridiculously intense.

i would love to see lesnar in the UFC. i think if your talking about pure physicality he is one guy who can match up with Fedor, though he has no experience and would get raped at this point, just the physical size of those 2 men and athleticism is scary

I recall listening to an interview where he mentioned he could beat Chuck. What a tool.

UFC fan: Interested in watching someone get their ass beat, begins 'booing' if the fighters aren't entertaining his/her primitive brain.

MMA fan: Interested in technique, attentively watches the fight, MMA savvy, respects the fighters.

No, I think he believes he can compete with the top guys but I think he wants the payday more than he's worried about training.

Fedor doesn't derserve anything but a title shot in the UFC.

If they put him in that cage and feed him bottom of the barrel heavyweights I will strike.

But this seems to be UFC policy for some VERY odd reason.

Oh and I like Lesner. I think he has potential, but size does not equal dominance in MMA. Skill, technique, and experience is everything in this sport.

Fedor vs. Lesner would end in TKO with Fedor raising his hand as the winner. You saw what he did to Zuluzinho? Matching him up against big guys just to see what happens is retarded and thats the type of mentality that ruined sports like Boxing.

Top 5 Fighters:
1) Fedor Emelianenko
2) "Shogun" Rua
3) Wanderlei Silva
4) Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira
5) Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic

FIGHT PREDICTIONS (Since June 11th, 2007): 10 - 2

If he ever shows up in the UFC, he'll be taking a pay cut, for sure.

Oops, my bad. I did misread you.

I don't think the serious MMA fans want to see him. He's a sideshow. With who he is now, he's only a draw to the casual mma fan who is beginning to realize that MMA is like that crap wrestling, only real.

However, if he does win a few more fights in good fashion, he will be a draw to the serious MMA fan, not because he was a former wrestler, but because he's a beast of a man, just like Kimo and Sapp.

Yes, but the casual fan brings in the revenue, in every entertainment field.

Lesnar is an incredible athlete and dominated in NCAA wrestling.

He was within inches of making the Vikings team, despite not having played football since high school. Even then, the Vikings wanted him to go to NFL Europe so he could make the team in a couple of seasons.

I find it hard to believe that the UFC wouldn't be interested in a guy with that kind of potential, whether they consider his pro-wrestling experience to be a positive or negative.
