What in the HELL was he watching?? That kind of crap should result in a suspension from future UFC judging.

Tito looked like ish in that fight, I was very unimpressed. It should have been a draw, if the 3rd judge had given the last round to Forrest like the 2nd judge did.

I thought it was:

30-27 Tito
29-28 Forrest
29-27 Tito (gave Tito a 10-8 round in Round 1)


I don't argue the 10-8 round, that was a tough call. But there is no way in HELL Tito won Round 2 by any stretch of the imagination, and Round 3 was damn close.

I gave tito 10-8 in the first round as well, that was complete domination. Second round was Forrest and third round Tito

I know this has been posted before but I can not find the thread.. to many.. I just caught the last two rounds of the fight.. and well Tito lost that was a totally unfair decision... I hate to drag up old news.. but that decision was pure BS.. Forresst controlled the last two rounds even when he was taken down he got right in the gard and was still landing elbows and such.. then he even got out.. how the heck did Tito get the decision.. can someone break down the scoring the UFC uses ?

The UFC uses a 10point must scoring system.
They judge eatch round seperatly (oppost to pride who judge the fight in its entirety).
they usualy give 10points to the winner and 9points to the loser of the round, but in some cases where one fighter dominates the other then they award 10to the winner and 8 to the looser.

example: a fight where fighter one wins round 1 and 2 by a magin, and fighter two wins round 3 clearly (but not dominating the round).
round1: 10-9
round2: 10-9
round3: 9-10
so fighter one would win

(but if this was in pride, fighter two would win)

i agree with you totally, i love both fighters so im being very fair when i say tito won that fight..forrest won the second round, but no way he won the 3rd, at best the 3rd was a draw...tito inflicted way more damage, even if it was under pride rules i cant see how anyone gives forrest the decision, look at their faces forrest was a mess

Who cares , Tito won that fight regardless, he absolutely manhandled Griffin throughout the entire 1st Rd, which had every right to be a 10-8 Rd. I mean , Forrest didnt do shit in the 1st , literally , they start out in the middle of the octagon on their feet , the first 10 seconds Tito rocked him with a left hook , took him 2x , bloodied him up and beat the shit out of him that Rd, Forrest does nothing = 10-8 Ortiz

Griffen too that 3rd round... All tito did was a take down and nothing else.. he did not even get the mount he got caught in the gard and Griffin controled it from his back.. even landed a few elbows then he even got back to his feet.. one take down does not a round make..
