Randy looked pretty gased to me. The only reason he was successful was because Tim allowed him to control the pace.

Great post. I was kinda pissed about the standup from the referee. I wanted Mirko to stay on the ground and work more to prove that he could defend himself on the ground. I will admit when the ref ordered a standup I wasn't expecting Mirko to get KO'd. The elbows left him dazed, he even admitted it afterwards.

I consider Gonzaga's win over Mirko as a lucky kick, same when Randleman KO'd Mirko with a lucky punch.

I honestly would say this is one of the hardest fights to pick a winner ever. It could go either way. I picked Randy in the poll only because I have seen more of his fights and I know what he is capable of, but after CC being ktfo'd who knows what Gonzaga is gonna bring.

did u miss the fight? he killed CC on the ground and when they were stood up CC was not all there so thats why he was finished with the head kick. he got elbows n fist to the face for like 2 mins. the ground game is what did in CC and CC isnt pretty good on the ground he is a stand and fight guy

I completely agree, those elbows were sharp and looked painful. Mirko got up and looked out of it.

I think the biggest problem for Randy will be finding a weakness to exploit in such a well-verse fighter and big man. Most of Randy's big wins have come from finding weaknesses in his opponents through his strengths but Gonzaga is great at everything so that is going to be hard. CroCop for Randy would have been better, as he even said himself.
