Whether they cant still compete with the top is debatable, but those guys always fight hard for the finish.
I am one of the few that didn't enjoy Shogun vs Hendo because of their horrendous conditioning. Sure it was a "entertaining" brawl but that doesn't do it for me anymore. I need to see some conditioning and skill to really appreciate a fight these days.

Wandy, Penn and Nog just don't have what it takes anymore and they shouldn't even be fighting for health reasons. I cringe watching them fight and don't take enjoyment in seeing them get beat up and/or knocked out.

Out of the bunch Mir and Hendo are the 2 that I wouldn't mind if they stuck around. I just don't want to see them fighting top competition.

Biggest "shock cut" - TJ Grant, I think the concussions are going to finish his career either through his camp or after his next fight.

Biggest Retirement - Alan Belcher, I think we all know who the no duh's are when it comes to retirement (Franklin, Silva, Nog) but I think this is the end of the road for Belcher.

The welcome to the WSOF - Rafeal Cavalcante, I think even though the division is at it's bare bones I believe Feijao will be sent to the WSOF this year.
I thought Alan Belcher said he has retired from MMA until he feels like competing again. Right now he is all into JJ tournaments.

The bad thing with HW is that there is virtually no talent outside the UFC to replace the old names on their tail of their carriers.

The talent is clearly out there, but those guys are getting paid to main event. In the UFC they would be cannibalized on Fight Pass for a fraction of the pay so they stick with the regional shows.

I mean just look at Bellator, the HW division is one of the deepest.

I'd say this is the year Ed Herman calls it a career. Post-surgery Herman is not gonna cut it in the UFC anymore.

Overeem after winning one more lackluster fight, then losing two in a row.

RIP Jordan Corder. Watch over me from above brother.
