Has anyone else noticed that Tito Ortiz has been removed from the Hall of Fame section of ufc.com? Has there been any word on it from Dana White that anyone has seen?
I don't think that there's anything a fighter can do or say (besides either **** or murder someone or maybe go on a racist tirade thats caught on film or social media) that would get them removed from the Hall of Fame. It appears that the UFC is trying to remove him from their history.
ALSO after the Jones/Glover fight the UFC posted that Jon Jones has the most wins in UFC LHW history with 14 wins. Tito has 15 wins. I know some of his earlier fights may not have been considered LHW, but they were counting them until recently!
What do you guys think the UFC is trying to accomplish? Do you think they are just in their actions here?
I'm not a Tito nuthugger or even close. But I do think the guy has done a lot for the UFC and should be treated with greater respect now that hes left the company.
p.s. I searched for this topic and couldnt find it. If its already been discussed, MODS please delete. Thanks.
