Diego vs. karo

I didn't see GSP vs. Penn, but I can't imagine it was as good as Diego vs. Karo. In fact, I'm hard pressed to find a lot of matches that were as good as that in UFC history. Hands down, this has been the fight of the year so far, but the bigger question to me is which fights in UFC history match up with it? Kimo vs. Gracie would probably be one. Griffen vs. Bonnar. Liddell vs. Belfort? What others do you think?

I THINK KIMO VS GRACIE IS AN OVERRATED FIGHT IMO..FORREST AND BONNAR WAS SICK..BUT I CANT THINK OF A BETTER FIGHT THAN LAST NIGHTS..IT WAS INCREDIBLE..IVE SEEN A FEW SICK FIGHTS IN PRIDE BUT AS FAR AS THE UFC GOES, LAST NIGHTS WAS EASILY TOP 3 IN MY BOOK

you're right

Kimo vs. Gracie was over rated as a fight, and I think it just went down as such a legendary fight because it was a real life version of the David Vs. Goliath story and David won. But yeah, the fight itself wasn't anything compared to Diego vs. Karo. I was just throwing out suggestions as to what could compare.

There are a lot better matches then these choices I have seen this year. Loiseau .vs. Franklin was way better than Ortiz .vs. Griffin. But my vote in this poll goes to Penn .vs. St. Pierre. That was a war.
ace vs the crow..was a terrible fight are you kiddin me..the crow ran away the whole fight..name some of the fights that are better because i cant think of any

It wasn't terrible...Franklin broke his hand and was still beating the Crow with his hands. But the Crow did run away a lot. The matches in this poll you have listed are better then the Crow .vs. Franklin but not Ortiz .vs. Griffin IMO. I thought Jeff Monson .vs. Marcio Cruz was a good match but thats just my opinion. I thought it was better than Stevenson .vs. Edwards too.

Liddell Vs Couture 3 was pretty good
i didn't think last nights was the best for the simple reason karo gassed.

I think Forrest vs Tito was pretty good but wasn't as intense as Griffen vs Bonnar.

I also think Ed Herman vs Kendall grove was an AWSOME ****ing fight. All the grappling jiu jitsu and then the knees from kendall and a few knees from ed. Was a great fight and i think Ed Herman could be like the next Tito Ortiz in the Middleweight division if he would of had tito as his coach instead of Shamcock.

Spencer Fisher Vs Matt Wiman was pretty good.
Nathan Marquardt Joe Doerksen was awsome fight to.

Outside of that i'd say GSP vs Penn or Karo, other fights werent that amazing.

Hey Jdun11, how could you forget Evans vs Bonnar?  Just kidding, that fight was the worst of 2006. I would have to say Karo vs Diego was the best.
