Aldo: Chad Mendes will pay the price for his team's joke about Renan Barao

Aldo was unhappy with Team Alpha Male's Instagram picture of Barao being registered in a Ludwig Muay Thai seminar
...and then there's this gem:

Quote:
We have never teased them, not even to promote the fights. We have always showed nothing but respect before and mostly after the fights. How many of their fighters have lost for one of our fighters? They did it for free in their first big win against us. Renan not only don't need their Muay Thai class, he can teach it to them. He will prove that in their immediate rematch that needs to be in Brazil.
WTF?

I'd say Jose has a pretty selective memory.

Can't wait for Mendes to whoop dat ass. Hopefully the ref actually does his job and calls Aldo out on his cage grabs. I don't mean warning him 20 times, I mean deducting points. The ref is dealing with the best P4P cage grabber in the business right here.

Will make predictions for credits. Please, I'm so broke.

Such BS. Not saying Mendes would have won but i'm positive the fight wouldn't have ended in the 1st round the way it did, hadn't Aldo grabbed the fence.

Barao probably could school all of them in muay thai. TJ beat him at MMA, not muay thai or anything else. Have you seen the sparring at Nova?

If you really want to dissect it, TJ landed one big shot, couldn't finish it, and Barao was on another planet rest of the fight. It's like Jones vs Shogun or Cain vs JDS 2+3, Shogun said himself he was not in that fight from the moment that knee hit him. But who's shown to be the better striker throughout their career? It's MMA.

Put these fights aside and actually look at all performances of the fighters in question, it's obvious who the more technically sound strikers are. In his second to last sentence Aldo is stating a fact, he's not being salty.

Between this and the comments from Sandro, the NU guys are starting to come off like douchebags. Barao got his ass handed to him, deal with it.

I COMPLETELY disagree that Dillashaw hurt Barao that badly in the first round. That wasn't a Cain Velasquez to JDS shot. It didn't effect everything else. He hurt Barao, knocked his confidence, but Barao came back strong in the next round. From 3 onwards, Dillashaw was just way too fast, way too good with his handles and way too hard to hit.

Thanks to Ape for the sig.
