almost beat pettis if you wanna watch that fight again..
he lost to cerrone, that looked like (rory v ellenberger) idk what was wrong with him..
only other real hicup in his career is his KO loss to yves where he was completely wreckless..
i dont think jeremy will ever get his shit together enough to be a tried and tru champ, but on his best day he will beat anyone.. I hope cub is not looking past him because this is not an easy matchup for him...
i suspect cub will win a 48-47 UD?
Head-butting fists and KOing the air is not effective striking.
I'm a damn UFC encyclopedia... And usually I don't even remember when fights are announced. I'm impressed.
I'm interested in the fight. Just more so to see how Poirier would do with a full camp. To each their own. Cub schools Stevens imo.
Poirier is still very young. He has plenty of time to get rematches and this and that. If we did rematches for every guys that lost without a full camp then it would get old. Not that you said that, but I'd rather see Cub fight someone else. He practically deserves a shot now anyway. Stephens/Cub should be a violent fight.
Stephens is comfortably in the top 10 FWs in the UFC for me. I don't see what the problem is. Gustaf fought Manuwa. Gil beat Diego. Mendes beat Lentz. Dill beat Easton.
I must be way off base because I think Stephens has a solid chance at stopping cub.
