I really do not think their is a single person on the planet that could beat Cain at 100%.
Sucks for me being a junior dos santos fan

At HW, a clean knockout can ALWAYS happen (JDS for example).

But I'm with you. Imo, Cain Velasquez is the best fighter in the world (if we're removing weight classes).

As amazing as Fedor is, for me Cain dismantles him for 5 rounds. Cain Velasquez can beat any human being ever inside the Octagon (9 times out of 10 if you include HW flash KOs).

The reality is that Fedor was a strategist against Big Nog and then proceeded to dominate a weak field at the time. Not to mention all the "heavyweights" who were really light heavyweights fighting up a weight class. I don't think he could hang with most of the fighters in the UFC heavyweight division now.

To be fair, Fedor was always "really a light heavyweight" as well.

Pretty much any field looks weaker with enough hindsight. Everyone becomes a "can" eventually, to a certain number of posters here. The whole thing is laughable, to me.

A prime Fedor would give Cain a run for his money. Fast hands, great submissions, good wrestling, great cardio and most of all Fedor was tough as hell. As tough as about any fighter ever, it took Bigfoot Silva laying on him punching him dozens of times directly in the face to really soften him up. Cain is not a power puncher and Fedor would be able to withstand the punches of Cain, and Fedor was about as good as anyone on the ground. He was in his prime 10 years ago when he fought Coleman, Randleman and Nog. Put that guy against Cain and he'd stand a great chance, the Fedor of today is worn down from the abuse he suffered at the hands of Bigfoot, Crocop, Nog, Randleman etc. etc.

Cain not being a power puncher and Fedor being as tough and fast as any heavyweight makes it anything but an easy fight for Cain. Seriously, back in the day you could hit Fedor with a baseball and he'd still be standing.

I actually take it back. Velasquez and Fedor is a toss up. Cain has great grappling, but he would have a hell of a time getting past Fedor's punches, and Fedor could very well knock him out.

Give me Rousey/Carano.... I'd PAY to watch that! In fact, I'd pay to watch any fight Rousey is in... She's the UFC's top draw, outside of Velasquez and Weidman IMO.

...Gina hasn't competed in years. Facing Rousey now would be a 1st round squash. Always liked Gina but she is no match for Ronda, even on the feet. Rousey puts her hands together beautifully getting inside on a clinch then throws everybody. No way Gina can stop Ronda's hop toss. Nobody has yet. Carano will get quickly tied up, overwhelmed and tossed to the ground, from there is the beginning of the end. This is just a sex appeal match to get Gina and Zuffa a nice paycheck. All this time out of action, I would be shocked to see Gina make it out of the first round...

Also so Gina loses to Rousey you can still do Carano/Tate with the winner of that fight perhaps being in the mix for another title shot in 2016.

The other thing is you are setting the precedent with Carano that could maybe be used again with a Cyborg a year later. I'm sure Carano wants to avenge that loss to Cyborg with the drug allegations.
People really think Carano is serious about a return and career in MMA? Really?

She is coming back MAYBE for 1 fight. She is not going to put in the work for 2 years and take multiple top 5 fights. You think she wants Cyborg? Are you serious? Where is this evidence that Carano is serious about this? I don't even know if she will make 135lbs.

All I see is Carano having a payday and exposure making her relevant/in the news again. People think she is serious about a career in MMA moving forward? And wants to take on a beast like Cyborg again when she hasn't fought in like 5 years???
