Dos Anjos is good, but I expect Henderson to do just enough to win a decision in a fight I would stop paying attention to after the third round. Not that I think it will be boring, but I see it being predictable.

Stoppage looked a bit early to me. Especially for a vet like McCarthy.

I think someone like Benson deserves the benefit of the doubt. He clearly wasn't "Out" by any stretch of the imagination. He was just hurt. For title contender fights like this was, you need to make sure the guy is really "Out" and not stop it because the guy is just hurt. Was Benson hurt, no doubt. But by no means out.

BAD AND EARLY STOPPAGE BY THE USUALLY GREAT JOHN McCARTHY.

Would Benson have come back and won if it wasn't stopped? No one knows. He might have, but that's just it, we will never know. And that's why the stoppage sucked ass.

It was a bad stoppage, those shots were amazing but you could tell Henderson's chin was holding up it was just the force of those blows and RDA's amazing timing.

But much like Faber with Barao you can't get dropped multiple fights in a round.

At the very least Benson handled it well but nobody should be calling for RDA/Pettis.

I can understand the stoppage. No doubt ben wasn't out and if the big john didnt stop it i would have been fair. He jumped the gun a little bit and all i can say is... It happens. Thats not that bad of an early stoppage, we have seen worse. Of course i was pulling for ben and i really think this was an easy fight for him but oh well. Hell be back.
