Unibarao is 100% at fault. He chooses to cut as much weight as he does. And he chose not to cut it properly. I wouldn't expect any sympathy for half-assing a file at work and getting lambasted by a judge, so why should I have any sympathy for Renan for messing up his weight cut? At the end of the day, we're both professionals who ought to be doing our jobs properly. It's his job to cut weight, he mucked that up, and it's now resulted in one of the worst PPVs the UFC has ever put on. Unibarao deserves every bit of flack and disrespect he gets.

The d-bag is Barao who had Dillahsaw spend time, energy and money preparing for a fight with Barao who failed to meet his obligations to both the UFC and Dillashaw. I think at this point Dillashaw is free to say wha ever he wants to the guys that royaly f***ed him over.

Looking online, Soto seems to be somewhat of a Sonnen-eske wrestler, shooting quite quickly but putting his opponent on the cage to wear then out and push the pressure. His ground game seems solid (SICK gogoplata) and his ground and pound is great too.

He seems to have good hands, shown by how he absolutely destroyed Warren in the first round of their fight, but his chin seems suspect. In his two losses, he got hurt bad by shots that didn't connect great.

I reckon Dillashaw has the wrestling to keep Soto from taking him down and the footwork to make it a hard night for Soto to get a hold of him. If Dillashaw's striking is as solid as it was Vs Barao, I reckon he'll get the finish.

TJ was probably just pissed off. It's not like Nick, who called out George so he could get a title shot (does ANYONE say Georges? lol).

TJ's already a champ, and the guy he's insulting is the biggest threat to his title, so it's not like he's calling someone out for some fearful methods. He's obviously just raging and wanted to try and hurt Barao's rep the way he feels Barao has potentially hurt his.

Barao never wanted this rematch, his coaches did, but he didn't. You could see it in his face.

No excuse for not making weight and even less excuse to not make it to the fight!! No doubt Barao will have his wheel barrow full of excuses ready and waiting.

Obviously I was talking about the other bs. And he didn't pull out, he was hospitalized in his efforts to make the fight and as a result of that was not permitted to continue. But I guess that assumption still fits in with the bs excuses haters are crapping out.

Hospital or not he still failed to make weight. As for all the other 'rumours' I'll reserve judgement til an official statement comes out.

I still think he was scared though :thumb02:

Sorry, I didn't realise you were Renans public relations officer. Jesus Christ,

Him not wanting the fight was obviously my 'opinion', which last time I checked, I was allowed to have. I did not state it as fact, nor did I say it was the official reason for him not fighting.

I don't even like barao. I just dislike how utterly lame some of the hate about this situation is.

Barao needs a different approach or his old approach, not what they did this time, it failed him and cost him much more then it does tj in the end, despite the sily notion that tj is getting the worse end of the situation, because he is getting nothing at all now for what he has been paying and preparing for for the past couple of months. That is a big and costly **** up that potentially has given him future health problems.

Yet what we get is the same old tired anti Brazilian crap or barao pulled out because of peds or craps like this child dillisahw is saying that barao isn't there because of fear. Its ridiculous, knock him for what he should be knocked for not all this silly conjecture.

Imagine if this were GSP or Jon Jones or Chris Weidman who went to the hospital I'm sure people would be soooo understanding.

Renan Barao is getting off so light with this it's absurd, his punishment is he doesn't get to come back and get a title shot. That has to be the lightest punishment in the history of the UFC.

Henry Cejudo is not allowed back in the flyweight division because he couldn't make weight, and Cejudo didn't kill the card nearly the same way Barao has.

I have mixed feelings, I like TJ and want to see him do good but how can you not cheer for the under dog here? I can not believe that Soto did not come out to the Rocky theme or Eye of the Tiger.

Goldie just brought up a hell of a point. If I had told you 2 years ago that Dillashaw, not Mendes, Benadvidez or Faber would be the first member of Team Alpha Male to wear UFC gold your head would have exploded.
