Dewees - Ray

Edwin Dewees and Gideon Ray. It was nasty!! Edwin got a cut from ONE simple elbow that Gideon threw from on his back. It literally looked as if somebody placed a spicket into Dewees's head and turned it on. Blood continued to poor out for the last round and a half. Dewees did really good. He is definitely a good fighter, just seems to have some crappy luck.

Forgot

I forgot to mention that Dewees won that fight. It was scheduled for two rounds as you know, and they called it a draw. So they went to the third round and Dewees got the win. Very tough kid!

These judges they have scoring all of the fights really need to be schooled more. I am sick of seeing a fighter win a round just because they created ONE cut on somebody. Gideon clearly lost every round! The only reason he won the second round was because of the shock of seeing so much blood coming out of Dewees's head. It wasn't a bad cut, it was checked on two or three occasions and the doctor said he could fight. Dewees is obviously a free bleeder. Dewees probably had to go for a refill at the local blood bank afterwards.

Ehh, i think dewees might have won every round, but i still think it was the right call for another round. I wasn't very impressed with his skills though, he had alot of chances for arm bars and kimura's and since he called himself a submission specialist i think he could have done alot better. I also thought he had Gideon with the last triangle choke.

What is it that is going to be on your mind when you're on your death bed? Will it be the tedious years of 9 to 5, or the memory of some great acheivement. Maybe a moment you stood in glory to the applause of millions.

If you thought Dewees won every round, there wouldn't be a reason for the third round.

I said might have. I didn't say he defenitly did.

I was saying he might have won it, but it was the right decision to go into round 3.
