Dana needs to pony up some $$$$

UFC desparately needs to throw some money at some of the Pride guys. I am definatley a UFC fan 1st, but all these rematches are getting boring. Tito/Chuck, Hughes/BJ, yes these need to happen; but all the other crap I could care less. Don't just bring over one or two mid level Pride guys(Assuerio Silva come to mind). Bring over three to six, feed them some tufers, and stack up the HW an LHW divisions.

Dana is a smart guy. I think he knows what he's doing. It could possibly be he is adding one or 2 here and there to simply keep it simplae at first, then once the "fan base" increases, he will "expand". That's what I would do. It's good business. True he might be loosing money at first, we dont know this, but eventually, he could end up the next Vince McMann (SP?).

I know folks here at work that are starting to watch it. If there are too many fighters to know, it could turn people away, because they "dont know".

Does that make any sense.

Heres what I see with this statetment, IMO:

1. Vince never saw competition at the level that Dana is seeing. Wcw and ECW were always based in the United States, so they never had the expanded fanbase. Vince could always keep one eye on his baby, and one on the competiton because it was always in plain sight. Dana on the other hand has a much more difficult time dealing with PRIDE. All the way across the world, a day ahead of us back here in the States, PRIDE is doing things during the times were not up, so its hard to keep up with them. Idk, just my opinion on it

2. McMahon is the proper spelling lol sorry
