That sucks. Gomi is obviously a top fighter in the LHW division so it sucks that UFC won't be securing another top fighter for the company. Maybe he'll join UFC once he proves everything he needs to prove over in Japan.
As for Diaz, I doubt he'll come back to UFC anytime soon. Guess we'll all have to settle for Nate.

Im actually cool with that...becuz in awhile i think nate will be just like nick...as of now he has about just as good ground game...he just needs to work on his standup. Nick has much better boxing skills then nate dogg
Why are people bringing up the Lawler fight? That was about 3 years ago, and it doesn't disguise the fact that Diaz couldn't beat higher-up WW's.
Gomi not coming to the UFC was expected. I would like to see him fight people like Spencer Fisher, Clay Guida, & Penn (Again), but I can settle for Caol Uno vs Gomi.

Yeah, I'm cool with settling for Nate as well. He's already a good fighter and although his interviews/promos aren't meant to be funny, they come across hilarious to me.

Thank you sir.
I say recent as in two years, and he lost to Sanchez, Riggs, and Sherk in that order. Then what he beat some virtual cans and Gomi, nevermind the fact Gomi was pounding him(I have yet to see the fight). I understand why ppl. love Gomi so much he is fun to watch-you already won the debate Damone

Maybe it will happen down the line, I think if WEC can bring in Kid for featherweight against Pulver it might spark Gomi.
