I don't think you missed much, brotha.

I am wondering jd, when you say K-1 do you mean kickboxing k-1 or are the fighters in HERO thier MMA division or both? I just wanted to say I watched the Gomi/Diaz fight and I can both sides of the nuthugging That is to say, Diaz was no slouch that night and brought the fight to Gomi made it a standing WAR, but there in lies the problem he wasn't able to finish Gomi. His punching power just doesn't seem to be there, I don't if its the cut from WW to LW or what but he really needs to work on that. Also, Gomi gased big time and wasn't moving in for the kill when I felt he should have been, maybe its honor or respect for the other fighter but I personaly hate when guys keep looking at the ref for a stoppage b/c of cuts or whatever. If he is still swinging then you better be beating him down.

A little off topic but since we're bringing up fighters we want in the UFC I would like to throw Joachim "Hellboy" Jansen in the mix, did Gomi and Hellboy ever fight? B/C that would be freaking sweet or Diaz and Hellboy=WAR.

Finally, I never in a million thought I would hear a comentator say "slobberknocker" I thought only good ole' JR said/used that word, shit I thought WWE had that word copyrighted.

Any idea where Hellboy is now? I loved that knee he did in Bushido 8? I think. His ground game looked pretty solid against Ireland too.

Yeah, Hansen beat Gomi by decision.

I think Diaz vs Hansen would be good. Both are good grapplers, and aren't afraid to throw dem thangs (Even though Hansen throws some ugly looking punches). I'd like to see Hansen knee the hell out of Diaz. But honestly, Diaz vs Aoki is where it's at.

Hansen hasn't fought since Pride 33, and I really have no clue what's going on with the guy. I'm guessing he'll go back to K-1.
