After winning the belt he decided to go over to Japan to get challenged. In doing that he was stripped of the belt because UFC has some policy about leaving the county to fight while holding the belt(or something to this extent). Than Matt the previous owner of the belt recieved the belt again and I think hes gonna get it taken away again.

No chit on the GSP rematch. I know in my heart that if he wasn't "gassed" that fight would have been his.

I know that if any fighter was in better shape, they'd win blah blah blah

He wasn't so he lost, tough luck, he's not beating GSP again and I haven't seen enough recent fights from him to think he'll beat Hughes either since Hughes will not let himself look like an ass again....

Personally i think hughes will win.

But don't go saying BJ Penn couldn't beat GSP lol, he was whoppin GSP's ass in stand up and on the ground. I almost choked him out at the end of the fight.

Btw Penn is also going into a different fighting preperation. He is doing what Royce used to do for a long time and thats just work on cardio, not get injuried and just train easy.

Anyways, should be a great match but i think Hughes will win because of his strength, wrestling and he's gotten pretty good at some jiu jitsu himself (not even close to a bj penn level, but i think he can defend himself with his jiu jitsu pretty damn good).

What is it that is going to be on your mind when you're on your death bed? Will it be the tedious years of 9 to 5, or the memory of some great acheivement. Maybe a moment you stood in glory to the applause of millions.

in my opinion a healthy GSP is unstoppable in the ufc at this time, and that's saying alot considering how deep that division is..
