i guess all the posters who claimed GSP wasn't mentally weak were obviously wrong.

enough w/ the crappy lame excuses GSP. "i had personal issues weighing on me" "i was stiff going into the fight" "i was injured". that last one personally kills me. he SAYS he was injured, but thought he could win, cause it was serra. what a d-bag. also, let us not forget what he said to hughes on ntl television after hughes' win over gracie.

how do people have any love for this bag of excuses?!?

GSP seemingly came out of nowhere, and was a real scrapper at the start. To me that shows mental strength. Now he's admitting his error, and finding solutions. I just hope he doesn't make a habit of failing.

I think alot of people around here owe me an apology.

I stated a few weeks ago in one of my threads that GSP is a mentally weak individual. I backed up my post with solid arguments and I got nothing but neg-reps and flame responses. Now GSP comes out in an interview and basicly states everything that I said about him 2-3 weeks ago. The guy is so mentally fragile that he is even seeing a sports psychologist and he fired his entourage. He has more excuses than a deadbeat at tax time.

Damn it feels good to be right

A sports psychiatrist? Oh my god, seriously, what a pansy. He needed a to hire a sports psychiatrist and cry on his shoulder everyday just to figure out that "shit happens" and "the best fighter doesn't always win". Maybe I am over-reacting, but this is just ridiculous. This is just sounding more and more like a freakin soap opera with this guy every article I read. A sports psychiatrist? For a freakin fighter? C'mon GSP, grow up already. What is it with him? Does he have people wipe his ass too? People hand-feed him their regurgitated meals? He's like a big infant who knows how to kick ass.

I agree, His excuses and constant drama is getting a little annoying. For future references, when people want to put up polls about, "Who's The Classiest Fighter", I would leave GSP off, because his comments about Serra weren't classy at all.

Hey, Pedro Rizzo saw a sports psychologist.

...Oh wait. GSP, don't fight a Russian with red undies.

Your talking about Khartinov right?

Yeah I must admit, the whole psych thing is alittle wussy.

Is GSP going to be one of those guys that had it all then crumbled and now hides in a corner afraid of the light?

Or even worse, Go Lois Einhorn on UFC.

And this loss needs to be put behind us and not spoken of soo goddamn often, especially from St Pierre, he's always the one that brings it up. Please for the love of Fedor, can we move forward AWAY from this loss?
