I see alot of Tito fans here on this forum. I am just wondering "Why." :dunno:

I just dont care for him. But he is that kind of person...you either love him or hate him. I have not ever seen such a performance from him that merits his attitude, but if attitude is all that it takes to make the fan go crazy.....then i assume thats why the WWE/WWF/WCW do so well.

Just my opinion, will welcome any positive things about Tito......

Well as far as his cardio, yes it is tops. I won't deny him that. But its his trash talk the I dislike...its like he wants to make UFC even more of a soap opera the Dana does! And I stopped watching wrestling for that reason years ago lol :)

i admire his hard work and techniques, but he just isn't my kind of fighter. he is however well roundedand athletic.I do not hate him by any means, nore do i love him.

im a big tito fan..i really like what he did with all the young guys on ultimate fighter, it seemed like he genuinely wanted to help and seemed like a nice guy..yea hes a punk at times, but thats his image thats why he gets paid the big bucks..its his job to sell the fights..and noone in the ufc has a more vicious ground and pound

Matt Hughes has a way better ground and pound then Tito Ortiz. You meant no light heavyweight in the UFC has a more vicious ground and pound then Tito Ortiz.

I would say Randy Couture, but since he retired I "guess" I'll let that comment slide.... BUT HE STILL MADE TITO CRY  LMAO!!!!!:cheeky4:

I never really liked him personally although I do recognize him as a good fighter. His funny guy routine at UFC62 was awful, someone needs to tell him, and Forrest Griffin too while you are at it, they don't come across as charming and they need to stop trying to be comedians as they aren't funny.

In the ring I find Tito a bit boring, I prefer watching guys that can stand up and knock people out.

How can you cheer for someone who got spanked. Not figureativly, but actually spanked, by randy. I just hate him because of the shirts he waers after fights. I think there should be more respect shown in the sport. Randy doesn't wear i just spanked tito, and chuck doesn't waer i knocked your ass out. There is no need for that.

i hate tito cus hes desrespectful, hes a great fighter and he trains hard but he talks sh.it and hes a punk so that overshadows his talent in my eyes i really have a hard time seeing why he has fans. If he just shut his mouth and fought i guess id like him, no problem with trashtalkin when its called for but the guys got no respect for anybody. Chuck beat his ass ud think hed shut the **** up for awhile but no, he starts yapping his mouth about liddell. And the shirts and shit, wtf, just fight if u win, win like a man and if u lose, lose like a man don't start jumping around flipping off people like your 13 years old. As for shamrock, idk wut he does know but in the day his training wus legendary and his 42 and hes ben fighting all his life so it takes a toll. anyway hes already proven himself time and time againn thats why hes in the hall of fame and hes got respect for fighters thats why he has fans. he might get his ass beat by tito in october but u cant argue his toughness and heart, he doesnt care if he loses he just wants to fight, u dont see him tryin to duck fights either.
If Tito shut his mouth and stopped flipping off people then he wouldn't be Tito Ortiz. Its like he said in an interview once, "There will be a million Matt Hughes out there, but there is only going to be one Tito Ortiz."

Is Hughes the 2nd coming of Jesus or something? I can compare a shitload of people to Hughes its so easy. Anybody that can ground and pound is comparable to Hughes. Hughes' ground and pound is not the best in the world so he's very easy to be compared to. Sean Sherk could easily be compared to him. GSP, Diego (not too much but still comparable), Carlos Newton, etc. You guys give some fighters way too much credit sometimes. Hughes is a great fighter, but it's a little overboard saying nobody compares to him I think. He's not THAT great. Matt doesn't get challenges nearly enough to say he's uncomparable, and the fights he does get challenged by, he barely wins, or completely loses. I think I'll start on thread on this so save your comments please and resume back to the subject of this thread.

Tito is annoying but is a great fighter. I watch it for the fights not the drama, but that's just me. So I like him because he is a good fighter.

Tito's blatant disrespect for the fighters he beats is what makes me not like him. You can talk all the trash you want, but rubbing it in someone's face in a sport like this is just uncalled for. Backing up your trash talk is fine and dandy, but adding insult to injury is so untolerable. Then how he tries to justify flipping off Guy Mezger's corner by saying that he once saw Shamrock refuse to give a kid an autograph is just ridiculous. He's got all the talent in the world but he has the maturity of a 16 year old. I was glad to see Shamrock give him a little taste of his own medicine towards the end of TUF3. It's a shame that a guy with so much talent has such poor sportsmanship.

I feel the same way. After the UFC 62 rematch of Bonner and Griphen. Joe Rogan ask Forest when he would be ready to fight the champ...and he said "when I stop doing this"(ducking his head and blindly swinging) lol its a good quality of any fighter to say little when they loose and even less when they win. Tito is very cocky and disrespectful. Even after Chuck schooled him he still likes to call him out and "claim" to want a rematch. Randy beat him so bad he cried and then put the belt around his waist. He felt really small. And even though I would love for someone to make him feel like that again. I doubt he would learn anything from it. Some peole just talk smack...its the way he is. Thats the main reason why i can only respect him as a fighter but am not a fan.

He really really tries to sound good but he really sucks at giving interviews or any mic time , Ortiz is far from James Toney , Thomas Hearns , Roy Jones Jr , Ali or Hulk Hogan the guy is a great athlete he just should stick to that becuase his mic and interview work sucks and his manager is a goof as well for letting a guy who cant speak well attempt to all the freakin time I just hope that Ken pounds the prick .

well theres no way shamrock is going to beat him and i am a tito fan all that stuff he does is an act get over it hes a nice guy but nobody knows that cause everyone just sees him on the ufc... and you cant say hes not a good fighter he did hold the lhw belt for a while until courture came down and beat him but courture also beat a lot of other people i dont see you saying that they suck and whatever you cant let his actions take away from his fighting ability

I never said the guy sucked as a MMA athlete just as a speaker he is brutal stick to fighting because behind the mic his lines are horrible , he isnt funnt at all and he is long winded and ya I hope Shamrock pounds the prick .

Lately he has worn shits that say "bring home our troops" "who's next" and "if you fight Tito Ortiz you lose" not really shirts that disrespect the guy he is fighting. And the shirts he wore after the Jerry Bohlander and Guy Mezger fights were because he was pissed at both of them because they both talked so much shit about him before those fights....as far as wand, and Elvis...well those were just to draw attention to him self, and also he was much younger then and has really matured since then.

I agree about Tito being much more mature lately...probably due to all that leg he's been pulling recently (J/K).

I noticed it after he was humbled by both Lidell and Couture...most noticed it on TUF 3.

Either way he has been different with the exception of Ken Shamrock. He will always be immature when it comes to him as will Ken when it comes to Tito.

a little behind on your wrestling history I see LOL sorry, WCW has not been around for...I believe close to 5 years....I may be off it may have been sooner but still

My take on Tito is this. Ive said it once, and I'll take it to my grave, no matter if you love him or hate him, he puts asses in seats. He is a hell of a competitor and is a charasmatic son of a beesting. I think people dont like him because of that. He talks the talk, and walks the walk. Tank Abbott was the same way before he sucked lol he always talks trash and the fans praise him for it. Hes actually fighting Paul Buentello coming up soon at StrikeForce....that should be interesting
