You guys are writing him off just like you write everyone off.

Serra, GSP (74), Gonazaga(crocop), and on and on.

I hope he destroys his first opponent. How about they give him "The Swamp Thing". That'd be a great match.

Finally someone Timmy doesn't out weigh by a billion pounds.

Watch them give him a title shot or a PPV fight right off the bat that someone else deserves way more, just because of his name...

Well, that's not entirely true. He has a better wrestling background than most UFC fighters.

and he will sell TONS of tickets.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

I hope the UFC signs Lesnar and Fedor and has them fight in their UFC debuts.

How entertaining would that be? You have Lesnar, who's the ultimate sh*t talker with absolutely no highlight or any substantial credentials and you have the most dominant fighter in the world, who doesn't really say much of anything.

The promo package would be Lesnar basically vomitting bullsh*t onto the camera, and then you'd have video of his one fight (if the UFC can buy the rights to that tape from K-1) and then you can have Fedor, just staring at the screen with absolutely no facial expression, while everyone talks about how he's the greatest heavyweight in the world and they roll his highlight reel.

I know that Joe Rogan tones down the one-sidedness of some fights because he wants the newer fans to think that it's more of a close match than it is, but I can't imagine what he'd say when he's talking about this fight:

"Yeah, alot of people consider Fedor the greatest heavyweight in the world, but Lesnar looked really dominant against... wait... what the f*ck's that guy's name again?"

Still, if Dana doesn't feed Lesnar a can for his first UFC fight, he'll be in a lot of trouble. I think Lesnar is a very talented athlete, and if he's still training with Royce (like he was before his K-1 fight) he has the chance at being very dangerous on the ground, but Nogueira would destroy him everywhere, CroCop would snap his legs like twigs and Arlovski would feed him his own intestines (that would actually be fun to see).

Lesnar might be a great fighter, but right now he's still figuring out how the sport works. To throw him in against anyone more dangerous than a mediocre UFC Heavyweight would be a disaster, especially for his ego.

ehh I think it would be a win win for signing him if they do it right. If he starts beating people they signed a great HW if he gets the crap kicked out of him they could say that MMA fighters destroyed one of the best Pro wrestlers. The only thing I see really messing this up is if they give him a title fight and he some how pulls off a win then allot of people will start saying that Pro wrestlers are just as good at fighting and what not and they can just come in a dominate if they wanted too. But I dont think Dana is that stupid

I don't think Lesnar is a pushover at all and think alot of ya'll will be surprised when he starts running through some HW. He has an amazing wrestling background, strong as a bull and has been training pretty hard for a little while in MMA. Not sure why ya'll don't give him a chance. I'm not saying he's champ material yet but he's a lot better than ya'll are giving him credit for.

once again, im in complete agreement w/ tony starks. lesnar is most definitely a force as an individual, however, he is NOwhere near ready to take ona legit contender, let alone the top dog.

but he is gonna do some SERIOUS damage to some cans & possibly middle brow fighters right away, assuming he takes his training VERY serious.

All I have to say is Lesnar terrifies me. I don't know if it's the crazy eyes or the roided out body, but that dude scares the snot out of me. Personally, I think he's going to get his ass completely handed to him against any decent MMA fighter, but that doesn't negate the fact that he's one of the scariest looking dudes I've ever seen.
