Wait what? Fedor wants to sign with an org that will let him do Sambo which is more important to him than MMA. Anyone who has fought Mark Hunt, Big Nog, Crocop, Mark Coleman, Kevin Randleman, Kazuyuki Fujita, Renato Sobral, Heath Herring and Zulu can't be called a coward. He is just doing what is more important to him.

And please, you are using the fact that Couture coached two seasons of TUF as a reason that he would beat Fedor? You have got to be kidding me. Matt Hughes is going on two seasons, can he beat Fedor? I respect the hell out of Couture, but vs Fedor? he would get smashed.

er.......ok

Anyways.... If you think about the difference in matchup between CroCop & Randy they're night and day both in styles and attitude. CroCop would stand and strike arrogantly, showing no respect for Gonzaga, an upset in the making if you ask me. I appretiate CroCops ability, it's the way he thought he would walk through him that was the problem. I think his ankle will remind him the next time he thinks about overlooking an opponent.

Gonzaga looked nervous.

But so did Courture.

It's hard to tell if gonzaga didnt break his nose, he wouldve put up a better fight. When you're hurt and bleeding that much, you begin to fight to defend. That's not his game.

Randy beating Sylvia and Gonzaga at 43/44 > Fedor beating Lindland at 31. Couture has fought better competition than Fedor lately. I mean since Nogueira, Cro Cop is the only legit top 10 hw he's faced. I'd throw Hunt in but his lack of ground game and experience don't add up, especially after losing to Barnett. Hunt is one of my favorite fighters too.

This is exactly what i mean by fresh in peoples minds. Yes...LATELY...Fedor has not done so much. But dude, seriously, you gotta look at the overall fighters here, and not just what they have done recently.

Were not Fish with a 3 second attention span, were humans, we have long term memories. Couture beating Sylvia and Gonzaga consecutively is a great feat, i Admit.
But does that really give people the right to just forget what Fedor did in the past? The dude is still young too.

Fedor on a 23 fight win streak (in this win streak contains some of the top fighters in the world...im talking top 5) is more impressive IMO.

Both of them looked nervous. Gonzaga will come back stronger, but that night he got beat by a better, more experienced fighter.

I may have been going overboard by saying greatest of all time, but i gotta take my hat off to him and i think everyone can agree if hes not the greatest these days hes in the top 2
Yeah, Yeah, but ALL, I repeat ALL of Fedor's fights have looked easy. You can't compare 16-8 to Perfection.

I have to agree with this. Couture, at 43-44, takes a fight with Tim Sylvia, beats him, and then demolishes a really good fighter in Gonzaga, who ran through Mirko.

Fedor has fought Mark Hunt & Matt Lindland. Hunt's solid, but Matt Lindland? A MW?

Fedor has done great things, really, really great things, but so has Couture. I am not comparing the 2, and would pick Fedor over Couture, but Randy has definitely been more impressive than Fedor lately.
