To say Karo has to fight his way up through Fitch is a little ridiculous,

considering Fitch's first fight against ANYBODY on the top of that list is Diego.

Who cares if Karo cant finish a fight when every fight he has is excellent to watch. Im always on the edge of my seat when Karo fights which is more more than i can say for most fighters.

Karo is awesome, and you people who nitpick about him finishing fights are really not watching him kick his opponents ass for 3 rounds, and putting on a complete show. Also, his opponents have been pretty tough.

They need to give him a fight. It seems like he is always getting screwed. He got a title shot, got injured and they never gave it back to him. Now he has won 2 straight and the one against Burkman was pretty impressive and they need to keep him fighting. I say give him KOS, Fitch, or Diego. I honestly think he should fight Hughes. Or KOS fight Hughes, I dont think Hughes should be fighting for the title because he beat Lytle. Come on. But yes Karo needs to be in the mix.
well, he isnt fighting for the title because he beat lytle hes fighting for the title because hes been the most dominant WW in UFC history and hes paid his dues.

Actually, if you read my post I beleive I said his fights are exciting AND bloody!! As for the finishing fights issue, I said that if he finishes his next fight HE SHOULD BE CONSIDERED A TOP CONTENDER. No doubt that he has fought some tough guys and I'm sure that has something to do with him not being able to finish. But the bottom line is that he needs to find a way to pull it off and he will have a better chance of getting his title shot!

I wasn't really talking about you. Just people who complain about Karo not finishing fights, in general.

Karo's improved his stand-up, and has become a much better fighter than he was before. I don't know, I'm a Karo fanboy, so I say give him a title shot now, but another win against a solid fighter would put him towards the title.

Has there been one good point in this entire thread that supports the opinion that Karo isn't a contender? Karo is the shit! If I had it my way we would be getting ready for Round 7,569 of Karo kicking Burkman's ass and I would still be glued to my seat...although I would have probably muted Goldie at about round 4,000.

Let's turn the shitty "Karo can't finish fights" argument around and ask who has finished Karo? GSP beat him by decision, Diego (my fav) won by the skin of his teeth in FOY 2006. Both of these guys are top 10 WW. Then there is the matter of GSP getting dismembered by Matt Serra, the WW champ. Isn't that the same Matt Serra who has the name of a certain Armenian Judo death machine next to one of the L's on his fight record?

I just got a delicious sack of the stickiest of the icky, I always make a wish on the first green hit and tonight's wish is this: "Dear Weed God's, you have always been there for me to make every UFC PPV that much better and I appreciate that. I am going to ask for only one favor this year, please, pleeeeeease don't let Karo's next fight end before the third round and if he must finish the fight, please let his opponent tap at the 4:59 mark of the third round."

Karo's not a contender.....PPPPFFFFFFFT...please.

It's cool, and yeah, I am waiting for that day.

Halebop brings the content once again. Karo is someone I can see beating Hughes. Karo's judo will pretty much take anyone down, and his grappling is really good. The guy just doesn't stop. His fight with Diego was pretty close until Diego beat him in the cardio department in the third. Still, Karo didn't quit, and pretty much fought with one eye. Really no shame in losing that fight, and I thought Karo got screwed, because he had a title shot, got injured, and had to work his way up again. Didnt Dana make a big stink about Hermes Franca, saying that Franca could've pulled out if he wanted to? Not really fair, but oh well, such is life.

He got dropped by Serra, but stayed in the fight, and went on to basically school Matt Serra, taking his back of all things and almost getting an armbar. Karo will be champion one day, and that will be a glorious, glorious day.
