Everyone seems to forget how good Rich Franklin Is.

It's pretty much universaly known by all the die-hard fans that Rich Franklin is the best 185lb fighter in the world. He has fought against the best fighters in his wieght class and has a 22-2 record, with 20 of his wins coming by way of (T)KO or submission. That is a staggering record givin the level of competition he has faced, Evan TannerX2, Edwin DeWees, Jorge Rivera, Nate Quarry, Ken Shamrock, David Loisoue, Okami, McDonald, the list goes on....

He overcame major punishment at the Hands of the always dangerouse, Jorge Rivera,(who is regarded by many as one of the best p4p strikers in the world), to finish him off with an armbar in the final minute of the fight. Or who could forget his brutal KO win over Nate Quarry, a fighter who was on most hardcore fans top 10 p4p lists, before "Ace" sent him into retirement.

I know that Anderson beat Rich in thier first fight, which shows you how great Silva is, but i see the rematch going very different. Rich Franklin was sick and dehydrated from cutting wieght, he had alot of personal issues that were distracting him from his training during the few months leading up to the Silva fight. He will not take the rematch lightly. Every fighter loses from time to time it's what makes good fighters great. Franklin is a great fighter and will take back his throne atop the UFC's MW division.

Seriously go away troll and work on your trolling because it's not very good. BTW Rich choose to cut down ridiclous amounts of weight to fight since he should be a LHW so if he gets sick because of it that's his problem.

He sure brutalized your favorite fighter, Jason McDonald, who is regarded as a can in most serious MMA circles. Look at Franklins whole career, not just his last fight.

How is he trolling? Don't think i have seen a billion posts of this same title or anything on the boards and if there are then my bad but ummm he brings up a point, do need to remember Franklin was the champ. Many other cases rematches have gone a completely different way and Franklin is a great fighter so can't doubt that. I have no idea who will win that fight but i could see it going either way.

Oh and i'm not agreeing/disagreeing with what was posted about Franklin's record since i don't know as much about that weight classes fighters.

Im sorry but the people franklins fought arent that talented, the only name worth mentioning is evan tanner and he's nothing special. The MW division has no great talent other than Ace and the Spider. Saying quarry is top 10 pound for pound is laughable and saying jorge rivera is best pound for pound striker is also a joke. Let alone saying edwin dewees is a big name that he's beaten. Until the top pride middleweights come over or hendo moves down a weightclass we wont know the true ability of franklin or for that matter anderson silva.

rich franklin fought a whole bunch of UFC cookie cutter "stars" who werent actually that great.

Hes not the best, i agree though, i bet he could do a lot better against silva this time but i still think hes gonna get beat.

so last time it was relly one sided, but i think that this time it might be a little more of a war.

First off Jason Macdonald is not my favorite Fighter. 2nd Anyone who thnks Macdonald is a can knows nothing about MMA. 3rd it is not universally known that Rich Franklin is the best 185 lbs in the world. In fact I could argue he might not even be #5. I don't personally believe that but the arguement can be made. Beside Tanner, Macdonald, Okami, and Louiseau he hasn't really beaten any real good fighters and none of the guys I listed are great fighters. While the Two Great Fighters he has fought he got tooled by. Rich Franklin is a great fighter but he really doesn't have any great wins on his resume yet.

Rich could very well beat Anderson but to say that Rich is the best 185 until he does is just trolling.

That's true, I've never been to another forum where people turn their backs on their favorites after one fight.

Same shit happened with GSP and Cro Cop. If Fedor loses one day, prepare to see "Fedor was over-rated" threads minutes after the verdict is delivered.
