Everyone seems to forget how good Rich Franklin Is.
It's pretty much universaly known by all the die-hard fans that Rich Franklin is the best 185lb fighter in the world. He has fought against the best fighters in his wieght class and has a 22-2 record, with 20 of his wins coming by way of (T)KO or submission. That is a staggering record givin the level of competition he has faced, Evan TannerX2, Edwin DeWees, Jorge Rivera, Nate Quarry, Ken Shamrock, David Loisoue, Okami, McDonald, the list goes on....
He overcame major punishment at the Hands of the always dangerouse, Jorge Rivera,(who is regarded by many as one of the best p4p strikers in the world), to finish him off with an armbar in the final minute of the fight. Or who could forget his brutal KO win over Nate Quarry, a fighter who was on most hardcore fans top 10 p4p lists, before "Ace" sent him into retirement.
I know that Anderson beat Rich in thier first fight, which shows you how great Silva is, but i see the rematch going very different. Rich Franklin was sick and dehydrated from cutting wieght, he had alot of personal issues that were distracting him from his training during the few months leading up to the Silva fight. He will not take the rematch lightly. Every fighter loses from time to time it's what makes good fighters great. Franklin is a great fighter and will take back his throne atop the UFC's MW division.
