I hope Fedor goes elsewhere to be honest, if the UFC wont give him everything he wants. He has nothing left to prove and I dont think anyone will ever be as domitinating as he has been.
Go to Hero's and take the Red Devil team with you. That way UFC has some competition and fighters will have more leverage with their contracts. Who cares if new MMA fans dont think he is the best, he knows he is and has proved it.
Mix it up Fedor! Throw a wrench in the works! Leave Dana looking like an idiot!

What I don't understand is the need for him to do Sambo, when realistically speaking (if rumors prove to be true) he'll get the sum of $2 mill per fight. Despite being a big figure in Sambo, he's better off to continue work in MMA.
If a deal with UFC doesn't come to terms, which I honestly can’t see happening, there are quite a few other chains for him to join, with the possibly of the perks (him being able to fight in Russia, booking members of his camp, etc.) given to him.
For those that believe Fedor will go to the IFL, please, think again. Ideally speaking, UFC, WEC, and Bodog are the three top priorities for him, excluding his work in Russia. IMO, a deal with UFC seems inevitable, because if he wants to be known as the best fighter in the world, then by all means, UFC is the place to be. And with the kind of money they’re apparently throwing at him, his agent would be dumb to pass on that possible opportunity of sorts.

He has money, Sambo is about his Russian Pride.

Nope, Fedor fought the best people could throw at him and never lost. Noone else can say that. He doesn't need to fight Couture, Barnett or anyone else to prove he is the best, because they have not been able to do what he has done.

This is seriously getting rediculous. They are considering passing up possibly the best Mixed Martial Artist the world has ever seen.

Yeah, has Dana White explained why he doesn't want fighters doing other non-MMA gigs on the side? Is he worried about injuries, or just not getting his money's worth promotion wise? I can understand not allowing fighting for other MMA organizations, but competing in Sambo or pure BJJ or something on the side, why not?

Fedor has plenty of money, and he is a proud individual. If he decides to not fight in the UFC at this time, and take up coaching a team and fighting in the IFL for a couple years. Who gives...
He will be the most accomplished, talented heavy weight fighter in the world to me, and many many other fans. In 2 or 3 years, if he is no longer listed as the #1 heavy weight in the world, maybe he can join with the UFC with a contract that allows him to fight sambo, since he wont be as much as a hot item them.
In the end, it doesnt matter if Some nerd in an office places Fedor at #1 on their websites list of top fighters. He will be the same fighter, and IMO could come back and just put himself at the #1 position at will.

i think dana is playing a smart game with fedor, i think he's trying NOT to sign him thats so he doesn't want to come to the ufc. only then can dana keep milking randy and saying he's unbeatable cause he knows fedor would just come in and demolish him just like he did to mark coleman
