6+ months without a fight is kind of ridiculous. Sucks for us fans but mainly for GSP.

You are probably right, but I think the UFC overthinks things a bit when it comes to matchups. If fighter x beats fighter y, then he will fight fighter z, only if fighter z beats fighter q, but fighter q already lost to fighter x, so we better pray q loses and fighters x and z win. I also hate how they are tying TUF into championship matches, this really mucks up the title picture for a long time and is unfair to alot of fighters.

if Diego beats Fitch and then beats St Pierre, I don't think anybody will have a problem with Diego getting a title shot.

I think Koscheck would be pretty pissed especially if he fought say Karo and won I really don't think Diego can get a title shot until he beats Koscheck which is sad because I like Diego a lot.

Diego has already beaten Karo, Nick Diaz, Joe Riggs, Brian Gasaway, John Alessio, he is 7-1 in the UFC. if he could add John Fitch and GSP to that record he would for sure deserve a title shot.

Just because Kos beat Diego(which was very unimpressive), doesn't mean everything Diego has done in the past is worthless, he is still a top contender.

Kos got his shot against GSP and he lost, if Koz would have won he would be waiting for the winner of Serra/Hughes. He would have no reason to be pissed, just because he beat Diego dosn't mean that Diego is forever below Koscheck in the rankings.

No I understand but Diego looked Horrible against Koscheck. and You are probably right but I think a lot of people would have a hard time giving Diego a title shot before Koscheck who completly domianted him.

I am a huge GSP fan and ovioussly I want him to face the winner of Serra/Hughes but I dont want to wait that long. I would love to see him face the winner of diego/Fitch because I have full faith that he would beat both of them. But I see another problem in that if he the winner then diego/fitch wont be near a title shot and they need to build guys up to fight for the title. Karo will be ready for a shot soon with a win over a top contender. I dunno....I just dont want to wait that long This Whole TUF this is screwing up the WW scene!!

Koscheck already got his shot at the #1 contender, If Diego had won he would have had to fight GSP. Rankings change, just because Diego lost to Kos doesn't mean that in order for Sanchez to get a title shot Koscheck has to get one first, regardless of what might happen in the future.

IMO Koscheck isn't entitled to anything, his fights are horrible, he basicly gave up in the GSP fight, He is the first to admit that he isn't concerned with making the fights exciting. He is not a guy the fans want to see fight and he doesn't seem to care about the fans. I don't think too many people would complain if we didn't see Josh Koscheck anymore.

I think GSP should have another fight before the title situation is worked out. George lost badly and in his first title defense, Tim Sylvia held his title much longer and will most likely not be given a rematch if he beats Vera and that's in a division nowhere near as deep as WW.

He should face the winner of Sanchez/Fitch, Diego did lose to Kos but if he beats GSP who dominated Kos why wouldn't he deserve the shot same for Fitch if he gets past Deigo and GSP who could say he isn't deserving.

exactly what I was trying to say

If you get past Diego/Fitch and GSP, you deserve a title shot.

I agree with you robb What I'm saying Is I don't think Dana would give Diego a title shot before he beats Koscheck (who I can't stand either)if Koscheck beats another top contender between now January. They would both be 2-1 in their last 3 fights vs top contenders and Kos would have a head to head win. Personally I think Diego would deserve it But I don't think Dana would do it unless Diego beats Koscheck first.
