I get what your saying, The UFC is so inconsistent with this sort of thing. The fact is whoever is bringing in the crowds gets pushed up the ladder quicker, all other things bieng equal. Most people don't get excited to see Josh koscheck an Dana knows this. I don't see Dana bending over backwards to give Kos a title shot.

Also keep in mind that most MMA fans have very short memories that only go back as far as the last ppv. If Diego beats Fitch and then St. Pierre, the Koscheck fight would be long forgotten by most fans. Especially if Koscheck continues to have boring fights.

That would really suck for Sakurai, the casual fans would think that he's some japanese can bieng fed to GSP, when really he is a good fighter.

I don't see them keeping inactive for that long, but you never know.
Same thought I was havin'. I think either one would be a good match up , really wanna see Sanchez just to see him get his arse whipped properly. Not Kos. style

Feelings ... What are those?
Neg. rep me all you want, not leavin' your name, thats a b***h move.

I agree. Sakurai went a good distance with hughes back in the day. He's definately no push over. I think it would make for an exciting fight

That would probably turn out to be a really fun fight. GSP would most likely be too much Sakurai, but it would still be entertaining.

coming out of left field, I wouldn't be surprised when Mike Swick comes back from his injury they book him against GSP.
