Fedor will sign UFC, or else

I've gone from hoping he will, to he must, or he's done.

With Pride standing, he would always be considered the top HW. No question there. But Pride is pretty much toast, I think we can all agree there. One day, they may get Pride up and going again, but it seems to be very low on the priority list.

So Fedor has to sign somewhere or nowhere. Call it quits now, fine, majority will consider you best ever HW, and I agree. Sign anywhere other than UFC, you are the Champion of no ones.

The UFC is growing, and like or not, it is where it's at.

The NHL, NFL, MLB are for the Pro's. Playing and/or competing anywhere else matters to no one. For example, say Wayne Gretzky, Muhammad Ali said no to the big leagues. They decide to hell with it, I'm going here/there, same money, but lower level of skill. Would there records mean anything today ?. I think not, they mean so much, because of the level of competition it took to aquire them.

Fedor says he quits today, fine, I'm the first to agree, his record stands. I'll never agrue it. He is the best HW ever.

But, if he signs somewhere other than UFC and fights no names, it's all downhill from there. He will only tarnish his own name, or take away credit from it.

As I see it, it's UFC or give it up.
I enjoyed both Pride and UFC, with Pride on the ropes, it's UFC or nothihng now really.

This Saturday night, I'm saying it's Fedor vs Randy announcment. If not, Fedor is finished. Really, it won't matter who he beats or where, UFC is it now. Take it or leave it.

Also, I do consider Fedor to be the best HW there is. I just feel he will not been seen that way if he continues somewhere other than UFC.

Wow, people are already getting tired of this topic, judging by some of the comments. But there's a lot of truth to what railz is saying. You can use the argument that Fedor should call his own shots all you want, but the fact remains that without UFC, he will never have truly arrived. He will never have fought all the best professional fighters in the world. He will be the what-if guy.
Fedor is undoubtedly awesome. But he needs to come to the realization that he needs UFC more than UFC needs him. If he truly wants to be the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, UFC is where he needs to be. Not in K-1, not in Bodog, not in EliteXC.
UFC's where it's at these days, plain and simple. That's where the fighters are. Is Fedor a warrior, or what?

"without UFC he will never have truly arrived"? are you high on crack? Fedor has beaten virtually every top heavyweight and is the best heavyweight fighter in the world, and has had his pride belt through when the division was the most stacked we will EVER SEE EVER AGAIN.

noone else has proved or will ever prove that they can beat the fighers hes beaten. ever. that alone puts him in the top of the world.

he doesnt NEED the UFC. maybe to fly-by-night fans like you that only respect fighters who have done something in the last UFC event. but to the majority of fans and even some casual fans now fedor will always be the undisputed champ. again, he doesnt need the UFC. his legacy is a permanent stamp that noone will ever forget no matter what happens, and he CERTAINLY doesnt need the money. not by a longshot.

thats all fine and good, but when you question whether ANY proffesional fighter is a warrior or not, let alone a fighter of this caliber and class, you are out of line.

to all true fans, no matter what happens tomorrow or next year or next decade, people will always remember fighters like fedor and what they did for this sport.
