exactly, keith took that fight sooooo lightly. he rocked alexander's nuts off with a punch, then got careless and it still took houston 6 punches or more to take him out. in a rematch keith will knock the cockyness outta houstin.

Basically, Houston shows the potentional to be a very good fighter but at this point it is to early to tell if he will be.

well... if we talk now about h.alexender, i thought about something maybe if he wins his fight tommorow in impressive way like he did vs keith, and chuck wins keith, and doesnt get a chance to fight vs silva and still needs one more match to fight for the title, chuck vs alexender can fight for the n1c for the title?

I wouldn't agree with the Wandy assessment.. I think Wandy's wild overly-aggressive striking plays right into chuck's counter-punching. Besides, Chuck's track record against top Muay Thai strikers is pretty good, considering he TKOd overeem in little more than 3 mins. And Wandy won't be able to keep chuck on the ground for his brutal GnP. Not to mention Wandy's attack would be blunted anyway without some of his main weapons (Knees to the head and kicks on downed opponent), and his track record in the UFC rules/cage is pretty bad (1W - 2L) to begin with. I would give this one to chuck, but my opinion might be a little biased towards him as well.
Do I think chuck has it in him to make it back to the top, even beat Rampage? yes. Will he make it before time catches up with him? That I don't know.

well, for startes Wanderlei fought in the UFC like 7 years ago when he didn't have a ground game as many pointed out the past few days.
Second, knees to the head are allowed standing so thats fine, and he doesn't really use soccer kicks that I've scene.

IMO Houston has too big a mouth to make it to the top and stay there; guys like him tend to get overconfident and underestimate competition, and get kicked right back down the ladder once they hit top competition. Look at Kos (against Diego), Diego (against Kos), Jardine (against Houston), GSP (against Serra), Tito (against everyone), CroCop (against Gonzaga). Call me crazy, but I think I see a pattern.

I meant knees to the head of a downed opponent .. confusing sentence structure. Those are illegal in the UFC. And Wandy uses plenty of soccer kicks and stomps:
Wanderlei Silva hilight reel
Look at 00:27, 1:08, 1:09, 2:08, 2:26, 2:32, 2:41 and so on

That's true that he uses them but they never seem to really change anything in the fight. A majority of the time a soccer kick is used the opponent already seems to be down and beat. Same for stomps.

Seriously, how can you say Liddell is out of his prime? I didn't hear anyone say that before UFC 71. That is a perfect example of some peoples goldfish memories, he loses one fight and all of a sudden he is 'out of his prime'? Did you all forget that at the start of this year he was still a 4x Defending Light Heavyweight Champion?

Yeah, it seems as if most of these complaints came up after a loss but I didn't think he looked that great against Ortiz the 2nd time myself.
