They may be down, but not necessarily beat.. a couple of times you can see him pass his leg in between a guy's raised guard ready for upkicks and all kinds of defence, but catch him good. They seem to have some fight left until they get smacked with a big smelly foot in the face. In UFC Wandy would have to try to mount/pin the guy and beat him up, which is MUCH harder to do against a good wrestler/BJJ guy than it is to simply get around and kick his head in.

unless Liddell started using knees and kicks I couldn't see him beat rampage, altho he might win a decision but thats unlikely to happen when those 2 are fighting. Liddell is one of the few fighters that I first watched when getting into MMA so I would like to see him reach the top once more before retiring, whether its going to happen Im not sure but I dont think its too likely.

grapplegod has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Although Chuck will always have a puncher's chance in any fight it's doubtful he'll ever be that dominate again.

Most don't want to admit it but Chuck won a lot of fights against fighters who didn't have the all around game that some of the UFC's recent additions possess.

sure chuck has a chance if things work out his way

if chuck beats jardine

and page looses to hendo

then chuck faces wandi and manages to take it

then shogun faces hendo

the winner of that faces chuck

now of course it would be very difficult to decide either outcomes.....because shogun is well shogun.....and and hendo is awsome....i think chuck stands a better chance with hendo then shogun tho....but i wouldnt call it a one sided affair

of course it could all work out in his advantage and griffin beats shogun in a tremendous upset

but then again the chances are slim

Did you all forget that at the start of this year he was still a 4x Defending Light Heavyweight Champion?

and who did he win against? couture out of his prime before retirement, babalu? he wins against cans and thats it.

Babalu--- ? babalu fought a lot of top guys and lost to a lot of top guys, hes just there....
Ortiz--- ok hes fairly solid, top10 sure...
Allistair Overeem--- maybe, didnt he cut weight huge to enter that fight? i could be wrong.
Vitor Belfort- i dont know what to think about belfort, but who does???
Kevin Randleman - has as many losses as he has wins. CAN.
Jeff Monson - i never saw that fight, its years ago and i bet monson was a different fighter back then, but i`ll give you that one i dont know the specifics.

ok ok, so he might not fight all cans lol, i just wanted to ruffle some feathers but seriously the guy has about 20ish wins and really out of all those wins he fought about 4-5 hard fights.

that seems like hes been coasting pretty hard. The truth is liddel never really had much competition until now.
