chuck liddel - will he ever get back to the top?

do you think chuck as a chance to ever win the lhw championship again or the fight with jackson was the end of an era of chuck?

i mean if he wins jardine, and then probably gets n1c, and face jackson/hendo - will he have a chance to beat one of them and be the lhw champion again?

I doubt he will but he definitely is capable of reaching it. I think lately people have been underestimating him, he really is a great fighter.

Does he actually get to keep Jardine?

Seriously though, I for one think that Rampage has his number so no I don't think he will. I know their last meeting was over quite quick with a so called 'lucky punch' but Chuck got his ass punched all over the ring in their first fight too.
I've always said he had his number and I still stand with it.

well he needs 2 wins before getting a shot at the title again, and if that fight is wandy then no, he wont make it back to the top. wandy imo is a bad style matchup for him, very bad. against shogun he'd have a better chance for 2 reasons, shogun's stand up isnt the best, and chucks take down defence and ability to stand up again is top notch.

Top 5 fav. fighters (in order)

1. GSP
2. Franklin
3. Lesnar
4. Forrest
5. Big Nog

i agree, and even if he could get back to his prime, the LHW division is pretty well stacked atm so he still would have a hard time getting the belt back.

I think the LHW division is way too deep now with the arrival of Shogun, Silva and Henderson, and Houston Alexander looks very promising. He'll be a force. But it's not going to be as easy as it was last time he had to make the climb back up

It seems like if a fight ever ends in less then 2 minutes, it's always just a lucky punch...

Lucky Punch? His clinch was on form and he landed about 5-6 good "punches"

His record stands at 7-1 on sherdog.

And the only one who was hopping around like an ape during that fight was keith
