Well, now that there's no Pride, it seems like the timing is right for UFC to return to Japan.
Not only do they have popular Pride fighters signed, but also s bunch of elite guys who have been seen little or not at all by the Japanese fans.
I'm sure that a UFC show in the Tokyo Dome would be a big deal, and the Japanese fans would welcome it.
It would be a nice way for the promotion to make its Zuffa-era expansion into Asia while paying tribute to the cocountry's role in building the sport, while providing a nice way to showcase a lot of the former Pride stars. When North American fans watching on TV see the crowd going nuts for those fighters, they might realize what a big deal those guys are.
What do you guys think? I'd love to see an Ultimate Japan 4.

I agree with you. I think people would be willing too pay mucho dollars to see their favourite fighters from Pride. And I'm sure that some of the Pride fighters currently in the UFC would be willing to hop on a plane and head back to where it all started for them. If it does happen I don't think it will be very very soon though.

yeah there's got to be like a trillion japanese people who are PO'd that guys like Wandy, Hendo, Shogun, Mirko, Fedor (?), Nog, etc aren't there right now. I think they would be stupid not to....
