I think it is entirely possible that CC may take him down for some G&P...

This would be the LAST thing that Kongo would expect... prolly the last thing that he trained to defend against.
Im almost certain that Kongo has trained extensively to defend and counter the LHK.

Remember that CC put a cage in, he's changed his training regiment... he is NO idiot, and the most obvious thing would be do what your opponent least expects you to do and is prolly not prepared for.

My answer is no. I think neither one wants to go to the ground and I actually think Kongo will win this fight.

I dont think this fight will be on the ground all that much, I would like to see some ground and pound and bjj but I dunnoo

I don't see these two throwin down a great grappling match lol. If it did go down I imagine they would just stand up, or let the other guy stand up. Some BJJ might be smart for CC though.

CC's ground game has been getting better as of late, but his kicks are still lethal as hell and I don't think he'll stop using those anytime soon. Maybe the ground game as back up.
