Maybe I'm the only person who thought his stand up looked bad. He didn't throw good punches he has power but lackluster technique and if Bisping was a stronger striker he would've been able to catch Hammill. The Man is 30 years old I'm really wondering when he is going to improve enough that he will be able to compete with the likes of Rampaga and Shogun because I never see him being a top 15 LHW.

I think 90% or more of MMA fans would agree Hamill won this. I screamed and upset the neighbors when Bisbing won. Granted, I dislike Bisbing more than I dislike Ortiz (I hate Ortiz), but he should not have won this fight. Hamill had at LEAST two rounds. I was also pissed off Rogan or Goldberg didn't raise question to the decision, but I guess that would 'look bad' or something. A black eye to the UFC if you ask me, quite evident, IMO, the judges were supporting the home town boy.

He has definitely improved, but aside from sticking to his wrestling, he needs more BJJ training, so he learns more things to do in dominant positions, and to not let your opponent go so easily when you have his back.

I could tell Rogan disagreed with the judges but was holding back on saying anything. Look at the end of the show when he sais Bisping should moved down to middleweight.

Hamill's endurance looked bad....he seemed tired early in the 2nd.

While I understand what the UFC is doing with Bisbing, I sure hope his next fight is in the U.S. I just feel having him fighting in the UK all the time isn't as 'fair' as it should be, although I also feel it doesn't 'really' matter where the fight is. Hometown people tend to do better, and it is more significant in this situation than it would be, say, an American fighting in his home state against another American or even foreigner (tend to, in my opinion, so don't flame me) in most other situations.

im in the minority in how i scored the fight i suppose...i'll need to rewatch the fight, but i could see how Bisping won a SPLIT DECISION

1st round clearly went to Hamil who landed the heavier punches and takedowns...

2nd round is the tough round to score since imo neither fighter did much to win the round...Bisping had some glancing combos here and there while Hamil threw haymakers that didnt land...

the 3rd clearly went to Bisping who stuffed any takedown attempt while landing some good combos on his feet...Hamil clearly was gassed from about the midpoint of the 2nd round as his production dropped....

two key notes:

1) it was a SPLIT DECISION!!! the fight was a close one and (despite objectivity) a fight this close will almost always go in the favor of the hometown boy...Hamil looked good in the fight, but because of him gassing, he looked bad towards the end of the fight...and the old addage is that you never leave it to the judges hands especially in the other fighters backyard unless you win the fight convincingly (which Hamil did not do imo)...

2) Hamil did not appear to be all up in arms himself...i think he realized himself his fault at not finishing the fight strong and allowing a close fight to go to the judges...Hamil did well, but he needs to work more on his cardio/pacing himself throughout the duration of the fight since it was clear towards to end he was tired....
