Henderson was a champion, Rampage was a champion. They were both coming off the biggest wins of their career. They both signed a contract that they would fight on this date in the octagon in London.

How is this not fair? All in all the better fighter won. Henderson is a great fighter and has nothing to be ashamed off. He went out and did a great job, it just wasn't enough.

He may have been rightly so a bit rusty but I thought it looked like he made pretty good use of the cage a few times. He looked real strong to me, I thought he might of won 1 or 2 rounds but halfway through the 4'th I thought he knew he was going to have to submit him, because he didn't seem like he thought he could knock rampage out. Anyone who can go the distance with either one of those men are bad ass mofos and should be commended. I am definately glad it was 5 rounds although Dan might of had a better chance of winning in a non title match

Henderson being a champ is no slouch. He knew what he needed to do to beat Jackson. Remember, there is such a thing as loosing to a better fighter. The matchups were close, Rampage just edged himself to the victory.

If Dan does intend to rebound, true champs will find a way. Note emphasis on if he does, not on wheter he is a true champ, because he has proven himself in my eyes.
You do realize Rampage Jackson got one tune up fight in the Octagon before facing Liddell dont you?

In my opinion this fight was not really fair to Dan Henderson, he has been out of the Octagon for 9 years now, he has been use to fighting in the ring, and under different rules, now in my opinion I think Henderson should have had atleast one match up in the Octagon before having to fight for the Unified Belt Title. I just think he wasnt as comfortable as he would have been if he did have 1 or 2 bouts to get use to the Octagon again.

Your thoughts?
dude i understand what your saying but keep in mind dan is a wrestler....and can work better in an octagon then in a ring....ie using the cage to impose his will..whereas in a ring the fight would get restarted if it endup on the ropes

no cc does better in a ring....because he can use corners to help stalk his opponent

Dan used the cage to his advantage better then people who have been fighting in the cage for years. he was at no disadvantage it was the fight of the year in my opinion.

sorry man. but there are no excuses in this fight. both fighters looked great in the cage, and hendo knew exactly how to use the cage as his advantage, so good job trying to make an excuse, but failing miserbaly. rampage won the war fair and aquare

True, but Rampage Jackson didn't hold two titles in two different weight classes. Dana White made it clear that Pride champs aren't getting tune up fights.

dan had an amazing fight today, rampage just came out the winner this time around. And i seriously think hendo should drop down to MW where he terrorize the whole division. LW is stacked as **** already

hes a greco roman wrestler right? wouldnt he be happy with having more freedom to grapple without worrying about a ref pulling him to the middle of the ring? didnt he challenge Rampage...QQ, you just dont like rampage as a person.
