A Message To Dana White

Mr. Dana White

I would like to congratulate you on what an incredible job you have done with the UFC. You have taken an organization that was on the verge of collapsing and considered by most as a barbarian sport into an incredible organization that the world is marveling at. I have followed the UFC from the very beginning and I am now a die hard fan. I have spent hundreds of dollars on purchasing fights and there has not been one time that I was disappointed with a show. You do an incredible job matching up the mental as well as physical aspects of the fighters and that is why I love the UFC so much. I just finished watching UFC 75 and I am very thankful that you had this one on Spike TV for free. I have not witnessed anything in any of the UFC events that I felt was a bad call or decision that was totally wrong until now. Tonight while I was watching UFC 75 with my wife I witnessed something that I have never seen while watching the UFC. I watched a fight that went to a decision where in my mind the win clearly went to the wrong fighter. This fight was of course the Bisping and Hamill fight. My wife and I where trying to figure out why we had thought that Hamill had won and only one referee scored the fight the way we had scored it. This is the first time that I have ever posted anything on a forum and I am not going to hide behind a screen name and be unprofessional. I have though decided to voice my opinion to you because I clearly have seen that others agree with me on this issue. I will not watch boxing any more because of the corruption that I feel has overwhelmed the sport amongst promoters and judges and I am confident that you will not let this happen in the UFC. I would respectfully like to request from you that Hamill and Bisping have a rematch so everyone can have an outcome that will not be shrouded in controversy. Once again thank you and the owners of the UFC for providing what I consider the most professionally run MMA organization in the world where modern day gladiators can represent themselves, families, universities, states, and countries in the octagon.

^^Shh, I recently wrote a similary essay expressing my disappointment regarding the Mike Bisping and Matt Hamill fight:

Dear Dana White,

First off, I want to thank you for providing a quality product in UFC 75 for free on Spike. I usually purchase every UFC card via PPV, so getting a financial break was greatly appreciated. I write you tonight as a dedicated UFC fan confused by the recent fight regarding Mike Bisping and Matt Hamill. Without the need of an official UFC, English sanctioned judge, the fight was CLEARLY a decision for up-and-comer Matt Hamill. While the UFC is not my whole life ( I am a grad student) I thoroughly enjoy the exciting fights portrayed on your shows and PPV. I am merely stating here, that the decision for Michael Bisping was false and in bad decision regarding the UFC's presence in Europe. I recommend an immediate rematch for a conclusive decision. The pedestal is obviously insurmountable, but a fair fight is something owed to UFC fans.

Again, this is only my opinion, but something worth repeating.
