I liked it but I really wish they gave people the option to order it on ppv. I understand some people dont have the money to shell out when they have 2-3 ppv in a short span like they have since 74 but I cant stand an hour of commercials. At least the last fight was commercial free.
I will say that the fight card was better then most of the fight cards for the ppv events. I liked all the fights except the kongo fight, I got bored during it and went on my lunch break. Both fighters dont impress me, I know mirko has powerful kicks and was feared in pride, but not impressed. And as far as Kongo, the dude looks like he should be able to whoop some ass, he is tall tim silva but doesnt have the beer gut. He is ripped all over so he uses all his weight for muscle mass, yet just not impressed at all.
yeah i dunno why everyones crying on their keyboards about hamill vs bisping, i had to wake up 5:00am and pay 30 buks to watch it, you guys got it free [well most of you]
I enjoyed it a lot. Disappointed in Cro Cop losing to such a pathetic fight. Kongo didn't do a whole lot other than hold Cro Cop to the fence and ground. Cro Cop should have been more active, Kongo did nothing to scare him away like that.
I felt Bisping deserved the fight, I'm surprised the reaction of the board. Hamil did great, and I'm VERY impressed by his improvment. But his first round was the only true deserving round. It really caught Bisping off guard. But after that first round Hamil fizzled out. Whenever he would take Bisping down, he did absolutely nothing. It was a very sad display of GnP. Bisping did better than Hamil standing in the second and third round I felt. And his escapes were more impressive than Hamils "GNP", which shouldn't affect the judinging, but clearly did. If anything, I just wish that fight went to a fourth round. It was too close to decisivly say. It reminded me too much of the Tito/Forrest fight.
And the Rampage/Hendo fight was GREAT. I just wish they spent more time standing. Their exchanges, though brief, were some of the most exciting exchanges I've seen. If they had kept that up, that would've been a short fight. But it was a clear cut victory I felt. I didn't care who walked away with the win, they both should have everyones respect.

first off, if you think bisping deserved that fight you are either bisbings mother and didnt see the fight or you missed the 1st and 2nd round and just heard about it on the boards. hamill decisively won all 3 rounds standing up he did more damage and took bisping down virtually at will.
and you must not have watched MMA for longer than 2 weeks, because most fans knew that niether hendo or rampage would get knocked out, seeing as their chins are hard as a stone.
I hated it, it was a good "CARD" but not a good event. I just wasnt feeling the energy. Everyone of my guys lost, I wasnt rooting for anyone in the Bisping fight so I dont really give a shit but Im just as dumbfounded as everyone else on the dec.
The only thing that salvaged anything for me was Marcus Davis, awesome.

It was Decent, heck you can't complain when it's free. I kinda lost a little intrest in th CC fight and got really bored with the Bisping fight. Hendo and Rampage amped it up little better. But it was free.:thumb02:

I found myself rivoted for both the CC fight and the Bisping fight.
I guess the CC fight had me because I thought that Kongo had a great chance of winning it anyways. So that just had me watching to see how it played out.
I was really disappointed in the Bisping call, but not the fight. I was really impressed with Hamill's striking in the first and the last two rounds were kind of like watching a train wreck. Neither fighter really had a game plan, Bisping looked almost scared and Hamill had no expression at all. Both swinging here and there.
It was kind of like watching a movie that is boring until you find out how it ended, then it's all you can think about. You know?
it's tough to say. after the first 2 fights i was like, WOW, this is looking awesome. Then cro cop broke my heart, the judges gave bisbing a blow job....the main event was good, but i usually judge an event by how satisfied i feel afterward...and honestly, i felt pissed.
I liked some of it ..i'm glad it was free though. I wouldn't re-watch the Rampage - Hollywood fight, kind of boring in a way. And the Hamill -Bisping was an upset ...I really am impressed with Houston Alexander ...he's tough!

I rather enjoyed the PPV event on the whole. I was a little shocked and annoyed by that judges decision on the Hamill-Bisping fight(The UFC picks the fights to favour their posterboys, but they don't pick the decisions, so those two judges were marking on a different criteria), but all and all I had fun watching it.
I'm not sure, but was I the only one that was happy that when Henderson got side mount, he started working Rampage with the body knees? Like c'mon, 99% of the guys in the UFC soon as they get side mount, they try for full mount instead of just railing away at the guys ribs with knees to break him down. Later Rampage started doing the same to Henderson. It was interesting to see that sort of Pride influence in that fight. I thought it was a decent match overall but I know others don't like all the grappling, but whatever.
(edit)Oh and as for the Kongo/Cro Cop fight, I won a bet with a co-worker that Kongo if he was aggressive, would take the fight. Cro Cop unfortunately just has too many very large holes in his game to exploit.(/edit)
I thoroughly enjoyed it. The first two fights were great, so that really got me pumped for the rest of the event, and while the rest wasn't quite as rivoting as the beginning, it was still a very cool show. I think it was a little tainted by Crocop having a horrible showing and Bisping getting the nod, but that's how it goes in this sport. I just feel if those two fights hadn't bugged me, I'd have enjoyed it alot more. The Rampage/Henderson fight was pretty remarkable from a technical standpoint, simply because their ground transitions, boxing, and clinching were all really sharp. On the other hand, I thought it was pretty average as far as action was concerned. I guess that's to be expected from two guys who have to be so careful with each other, but I was hoping for just a few more fireworks.
