The only thing that I could be thinking is that the judges looked at who seemd to be in better condition and more active through the latter rounds. Hammill gassed badly about 3/4 of the way through round 2 and had very little left in round 3. While Bisping stayed light on his feet and was bouncing around. Bisping got his ass beaten, but he still had a lot of fight left in him where if it went any longer Hammill would have passed out. If Matt can get his conditioning under control, and it shocks me that it's so bad, he could go places. His hands are some of the heaviest I have seen in the LHW division and his wrestling is fantastic. Granted he still needs to shore up his sloppy striking but he's much improved from the TUF days.

Easily the worst decision I've seen, ever. Most times bad decisions come in close fights, this wasn't close at all. I could understand giving Bisping round three, but the other two were not even close. Hamill controlled the octagon, outstruck him and took him down almost at will. That decision was one of the most ridiculous things I've seen since I've started watching MMA. Props to Hamill for not bitching about it in the post-fight interview. If anybody ever had a reason to not be a class act after a fight, it was him and he held it together despite being clearly devastated.

It was a close fight, but hamill had the edge. He deserved to win. Bisping did a good job of landing some strikes at the end of the fight and that's what saved him I think. Giving your best at the end of the fight is always important to the judges. But the desicion was wrong and bisping's attitude at the end was crap.

Worst Decision in MMA history!!

Hammill destroyed Bisban. So much so that it didnt matter if they were on the groung, on their feet, in the clitch, made no difference. Hammil was so dominant all around so much so that he let Bisban get up after Hammil took him down on more then one occassion. Bisban knew he lost the fight when it was over. This is the reason I stopped watching HBO PPV Boxing. I truly hope UFC isnt going down that same road, but I guess anything can happen when you put it in the judges hands. And how qualified do you think judges really are? Pathetic. Obviously he won because it was in England. But this pissed me off so much that I just turn away from watching completely. Hammil dominated so much that I feel he could have knocked out, or submitted Bisban in the 1st or 2nd round if he really wanted to. He really didnt even give him all the punishment that he could of. Obviously letting him up off the ground back to their feet kinda said enough. Worst decision in MMA history! Absolute worst!!

Agreed, that decision was just nonsense. I'm really disappointed at the UFC right now. I really wanted to see Hamill win that fight and when he won it and they didn't give it to him, that was just sad.

This is exactly why I have never liked Bisbing. After the judges announce there decision and he gets the win he starts talking crap like there was no way that Hammill was going to beat him. He is very full of himself. I see him coming back to the states and getting fed to a upper tear fighter in his next fight and getting his lunch handed to him. Can you imagine what Rampage or Henderson would do to this guy??? I mean come on????

And I cant stand when people say "really close fight".. Which fight were you watching? Hammil won all 3 rounds. He wasnt in trouble the entire fight. He never got knocked around at all. He complely dominated, a clear win. Obiously thats why this thread is called "Worst decision in recent times" , not "Close decision in recent times". Get a life to the losers who cant see straight.
