UFC 75 thoughts

Hey guys i was just going to post in some of the other threads about the different fights but have so many comments would get on my nerves trying to find all the threads lol.

I like most of you was surprised with the Mirko vs Kongo fight i'm sure everyone including myself expected Mirko to take Kongo out pretty easily. I'm not one of the ones who will say Mirko is done or whatever like that cause he is awesome but what i was impressed with was Kongo. Did anyone else notice how he pretty much took out Mirko's best weapon? Kongo kept throwing those right body kicks in defense pretty much and a couple of times when Mirko tried to kick Kongo would just keep that up which made it really hard for Mirko to squeeze in any kicks. I was really impressed with that. Well as far as that goes Kongo did a great job and lets hope Mirko can fix some holes that other people in the ufc see in his game and step it up some more.

Alright the Bisping vs Hamill fight...... Whats to say except what fight were the judges watching? I saw Bisping throw punches at Hamill when he had his hands up blocking his face. I saw Hamill out striking Bisping..... was i dreaming? I mean Hamill came out and was out striking Bisping..... wow. I do not like Bisping anymore at all and its not because he should have lost that fight, its how he acted afterwards. He acted like he kicked Hamill's ass and made that comment on wrestling and all this i mean seriously he was very disrespectful to someone who handed his ass to him.

Jackson vs Henderson was an amazing fight. I love both fighters so going in to that fight was just thinking dammit can't they both win!?!?! Anyways though 5 rounds of war. Thats what i expected and i believe thats what i got. I agree with the judges on this one now before i get flamed for that or anything hear me out. When henderson was controling except for maybe a round or 2 it 3 or 4 minutes of the round were already over and in Jackson's favor. I personally didn't see any LnP like some have said. I saw Jackson trying not to rush in and get submitted by Henderson and both of them working for better positions and working elbows and such. That was a very very very close fight though i do believe rather than a unanimous decision it should have been a split decision because that was just so close.

Anyways excuse any spelling or anything like that i'm sure a few might agree but i'm sure most wont which is cool all i ask is to keep the discussion civil. Thanks

I agree. Bisping acting like he actually won the fight leads me to further believe that there was a fix in the match. I mean not only did he get his ass kicked and win the fight, but after the fight he kept on saying how he kicked Hamill's ass. What a complete joke!

There was booing on the Jackson Vs. Henderson fight

That fight was busy 95% of the time, from submissions to crazy moves in getting out of the submissions. Attempts and blocks, huge hits perfects dodges. What else could you ask for, and then "you" start to Boo because they want to rest.

That "pay per view" should have gained TONS of American fans, but I bet because of the Booing it turned a lot more then what is shouldn't have.

Great fights last night I must say.

For most of you, ignorance is bliss, but for me it's about the truth.

Good review I feel the same way. How could anyone say Rampage was LnP ing? Henderson is probably the hardest guy at 205 to hold down so of course Quinton couldn't just start throwing punches otherwise Hendo would just get back up.

I agree all around with the reviews.

How about Houston Alexander utterly obliterating another opponent again?

Alexander was probably the most impressive person last night. You can see him causing a lot of match up problems for anyone in the LHW division. I was really impressed with his take down defense.

alexander seems a little suspect to me. Did you hear how breathless he was at the end. And what was up with his knees they looked like he was in slow motion

If I was Bisping and they gave me that fight, I wouldnt take it. I would walk to the back with my head held low. It's retarded that he won that fight. Not only that, but Jackson held down HENDO!!! lol And Cheik Kongo beat CC, lots of weird twists and turns last night for sure.

Yeah ur right he was a little out of breath after a minute which could hurt him if a fight goes to the later rounds. I dont think he needs more weapons so improving the knees arent really a major weakness but if he does get a major matchup for his next fight he should work on his cardio
